| This is an older hotel. But it is well maintained and the staff is excellent. Everyone was cheerful and very helpful. The pools are great! This hotel is a bargain, so much less expensive than the others.

| A clean room is expected wherever you stay, so to me, it's the extra amenities that make a hotel recommendable. Two pools, the hot tub, great! The gym was just O.K. but still usable. The on-site lounge was a convenient place to hide-out and enjoy a cigar. The pool table was the best I've played at a hotel. Location could not be better. I'll stay there again while in Louisville.

| Overall very good for the price. A few minor issues, coffee pot not clean, sink clogged upon arrival. All issues were fixed though response was a little slow. Decor was somewhat outdated but overall the place was clean, the staff was friendly, and we had what we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the wireless internet access.

| The outside of the hotel is pretty nice, and the main lobby is fairly well kept. However, a few glaring issues made the stay a little less enjoyable than hoped. For one, all the hallways reeked of smoke. We had a non-smoking room, but it always felt as if we were soaked in cigarette smoke as we walked to our room. The second major problem was that the elevator doors wouldn't stay open nearly long enough. You almost had to jump into the elevator immediately when the doors opened, or you would get left behind. Sticking your hand or foot in the way didn't stop it, either. The positives were that the pool and hot tub were very relaxing, and there were plenty of "noodles" around the pool to increase your floating enjoyment. All of the staff was very friendly, but i was mildly disappointed with Breckenridge Inn. It definitely didn't feel like a 3 star hotel.

| Our family decided to go to Kentucky Kingdom, so we looked for a hotel that was fairly close by, easy to find, that seemed to be nice, and was reasonably priced. The Breckenridge Inn fit the bill on all counts. On return trips to Louisville, we'll be booking a room at the Breckenridge Inn.

| My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of days, visiting friends as well as the amusement park. This hotel was perfectly fine. She loved it and said she wanted to come back next year (even though the hallways reminded us of The Shining). Pool was nice, room was fine (a tad musty smelling, but not too bad), the staff and service really was great. I'd go back.
