This 10-story hotel is in the renovated, circa-1919, neo-classical Humble Oil Building in downtown Houston. The George R. Brown Convention Center is eight blocks from the hotel, Minute Maid Park is one mile away, and the Metro light-rail station—with service throughout downtown, the museum district, and Texas Medical Center—is across the street. Complimentary shuttle transportation (based on availability) is also available in the downtown area. | Downtown is buiding up to cater to tourist.The hotel is perfectly located.You can park your car for the weekend.I just hope they can keep the prices down.

| I had reserved a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. The hallway leading up to my room even smelled like cigarette smoke. Not very happy.
