| My wife and I are traveling Europe for 6 months and have stayed at hotels all over Europe. This one was decent, but not quite what I expected. It was in a very inconvenient location - especially if you don't have a car. The town of Alhaurin El Grande itself is cute but the hotel wasn't really in the town itself. We had to take a 5 minute taxi to the town. The hotel isn't exactly on the golf course either as we thought it would be. We didn't have too great of experience with the service when we arrived. Our first room had a broken shower so we requested to change rooms. The front desk attendant asked if we could wait until the next day since the repair man wasn't available until then. She didn't want to let us change rooms and asked if we could just use the bath. I was finally able to get her to let us change rooms. The restaurant was decent. The service was good there and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, but the food was just ok. The included breakfast was pretty good. The internet didn't work while we there. Overall, the hotel is decent, but I wouldn't recommend it. I hear there are others in the area that are nicer.
