| The Hotel is on via europa and NOT on Viale San Concordia - and since the hotel uses both street names in its address finding of the hotel is confusing. However, parking was plentiful and convenient and the clerk at the front desk was happy to help bring our luggage to our room on a cart. The hotel has the feel of catering for business travelers. It is comfortable, modern and efficient but with relatively small rooms and not the hotel to choose if you want an old world family feel about your stay. It is a rather long walk to the walled city of Lucca but there is a municipal parking close to the wall. Not far from the hotel is a large supermarket to stock up on picnic foods. The restaurant has a high standard at reasonable prices, though the breakfast was disappointing. To access internet you must ask at the desk and you will be referred to a room on the mezzanine where you can sign up and use internet at a modest cost per hour. We decided to stay an extra night and the hotel had no problem accommodating us.

| This is a great place to stay if you have a car: free parking and the road to Pisa is a minute drive from the hotel: just turn right and go straigt: you will be in unbelievable Pisa in 20 minutes driving along a very picturesque road. Hotel staff was really nice and friendly, the romm was modern and spotless, breakfast was really good.

| The walled city is a 15 minute walk from hotel. Unfortunately Lucca did not measure up to expectations. Villages in the German and French countryside are a lot more charming.

| Our flight back to the states was out of Pisa, but hotel choices in Pisa got mixed reviews. On top of that we wanted to see Lucca more than Pisa. This hotel is perfectly situated for flying out of Pisa, if you have a car. Well marked 4 lane highways take you straight to the airport in about 25 minutes. On top of that, you can walk to Lucca's walled city in about 10 minutes.
