| Enviably situated on the beautiful island of Lido, The Russo Palace Hotel is easily reached via a range of transport options. These include, the frequent waterbus direct from Marco Polo airport, the public water taxi service (ACTV) from Santa Lucia railway station or the opportunity to arrive directly in a private water taxi and berth at our private jetty. The Hotel can also be accessed by car using a ferry boat service. Carefully restored during the last year – the Gothic style Russo Palace Hotel has 22 rooms on 4 floors linked with a modern lift. The rooms are perfectly furnished in Cherry wood born from skilled hands of Venetian craftsmen that have made every piece a work of art. Each room is equipped with shower or bath, WC, air conditioning, central heating, safe, mini bar, Satellite TV, radio and telephone with optional internet connection. All rooms have large windows some with a balcony providing stunning views of the Venice lagoon. Ground floor rooms have been adapted for disabled access. A further distinguishing feature of the Russo Palace Hotel is that we invite our guests not to smoke in the rooms. The Ground floor of the Russo Palace Hotel comprises the Hall, Library/TV Room, Bar a Garden with Restaurant that serves buffet breakfast on the veranda in a bright atmosphere with an enchanting view. | This hotel is intimate and clean. The staff is very accomodating and professional. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the water bus stop, which was no problem for my husband and me since we needed to burn the extra calories from all the wonderful food we'd been eating in Venice. The included breakfast was always well presented, although it would have been nice to have a slightly varied menu from day to day. Food is expensive in Venice, so we always had the complimnetary breakfast at the hotel. The room was small, but nicely furnished and decorated, and had plenty of room for our luggage and clothes. We also had balcony. A little too chilly to take advantage of it though. There is not much shelf space in the bathroom, but we had a toiletry kit that hangs on a hook on the wall, so that wasn't an issue for us either. We had booked a singing Gondala Tour through Expedia, and the hotel staff took care of calling and arranging for the tour once we got there. Just one of the many ways the staff was so helpful.We had a wonderful trip, every where you look in Venice there is something beautiful to see. The Hotel Russo Hotel was a very good choice for us, and the price was right too. I highly recommend it.

| This hotel is on the island of Lido, about a 15 minute WaterTaxi ride to Piazza San Marco. We got an excellent rate at this hotel - it would have cost +- 4X more to stay at a hotel on Piazza San Marco. The location was good, and we discovered that Lido actually has a great beach as well. The staff was very helpful and friendly and arranged a WaterTaxi for us to Marco Polo airport leaving at 4:00am in the morning. We had a great time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Venice.

| We were very satisfied with the room, it was clean and well kept, the only thing we expeciated a little bigger room. We asked for a triple room and it was very small. We were traveling with an other adult but it worked out. The bathroom was large and very clean. We had a very nice breakfast included in the cost and it had a nice varity of food. We would recommend this hotel.

| This was my first time staying on the Lido, and I was impressed by how easy and fast it was to travel back and forth to the main areas of Venice via the vaporetto boats. The hotel was small and charming, and the complimentery buffet breakfast had much more variety than most Italian hotels.

| I really enjoyed my stay at Russo Palace. We had a great room with an amazing view of the water and sunset. Absolutely perfect view from the balcony. The hotel is on Lido, so its not in Venice proper, but there is easy access by water bus. Also, easy access from the airport. I would definately stay here again.
