Only a few block from the ferry terminal building. A must see. Reasonably priced. On the weekend, the Embarcadero(sp) is very quiet. Kinda nice. Only complaint is that they ran out of water on Sunday morning after a big "check-out"

This hotel was nice, clean and in a good location. I would recommend it if you are staying in San Fran. However, the rooms are very small, if you have a big family or are planning on spending time in your room this won't be for you.

The hotel and the rooms were extremely clean. It had small rooms, but the bed was very very comfortable. I would definately stay here again. The Elephant and Castle Restaraunt inside the hotel was very good, I ordered room service and it was delivered very quickly. Overall this was a very nice hotel.

We hopped on the BART at the airport and it took us within just a few blocks of the hotel. We were very impressed with the hotels allowing us to check in early, with no fee, after an early flight. The room was quite compact, but immaculate and very comfortable! We had plenty of modern conveniences and were able to go online for free to search out activities. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was fantastic! It is only blocks from Chinatown, and within a comforable 30 min. walk of Union Square, without being in the middle of the noisy, business of the city. We actually walked back from the Fisherman's Wharf (at night) one evening (quickly) as well in about 30 min. and felt very safe in doing so. MUNI transportation is available just a few blocks away as well, for transportation all around the city.

I travel all the time for both business and pleasure. This is a terrific utilitarian hotel. It gets the job done. Clean, relatively modern, efficient. Good location.

I enjoyed my stay at Club Quarters this past Labor Day weekend. I had some friends meet me at the Elephant and Castle and we enjoyed the service and fine brews available (with authentic brewery glassware!)

Club Quarters in San Francisco (they have about a dozen other locations nationwide) was clean, comfortable, responsive to my needs, and a joy to stay at. Free wireless internet throughout the hotel with two or three public use terminals in the lounge as well. On-site do it your-self laundry and a small but clean and adequate gym were nice touches. They also offer to deliver a portable step machine to your room for no fee. I would definitely stay again.

I thought this was a great deal, as it was nearly half the price of nearby hotels. The service was friendly and efficient, and the room was adequate size for two people. The only thing I thought was odd was that the bathroom door did not conceal the bathroom completely, (it left a small gap). Other than that, I'd definitely go back next time I'm in the area.

I've been using this hotel as a base for business and personal trips to SF - great central location. The rooms are not huge, but it is well maintained, clean, modern and has business amenities. Be aware that sound travels a bit in this place - so weekend families and late night meanderings are heard. Try to get a room on the street versus the inner "courtyard" which does not afford any kind of view or substantial light.
