Recreation
Adjacent to the resort's South Tower and 600 yards from the North Tower, the Paradise Tower features an expansive pool complex that is enclosed in winter and has glass panels in front that are removed in summer. The complex comprises the indoor portion of an indoor/outdoor, 418-foot lazy river with tubes; a free-form pool roughly measuring 60 by 40 feet; a narrow, 35-foot-long children's pool with a mushroom-shape shower; and two 16-person spa tubs. Just outside is another 35-foot children's pool, this one constructed under and around a concrete pirate ship in three sections. It has zero-entry ends, a jetted center, and a covered section with showerhead sprays. Lying outdoors between the Central Tower and the beach some 30-60 yards from the Paradise and South towers are a seasonal, 40-by-20-foot pool and a 12-by-4-foot children's pool. In summer, a DJ plays music and leads activities from an adjacent stage. Within the Central Tower, an indoor/outdoor, 60-by-35-foot pool offers year-round swimming in a solarium whose front is disassembled in summer. Four four-person spa tubs and a toddlers' pool surround the pool. Located 600 yards from these water attractions, the North Tower provides its own: a complex of three year-round outdoor pools, comprising a 60-foot-long kidney-shape swimming pool, a 40-by-6-foot children's pool, and a 12-person spa tub--all fronted by a sunning lawn overlooking the beach. The resort features direct beach access from all towers. Fold-up cabanas and beach chairs can be rented from independent operators. A water sports center 1.5 miles away offers a wide variety of rental equipment, including Jet Skis and windsurfers, and books parasailing flights and banana boat rides. The resort's concierge provides discounts at nine of the Myrtle Beach area's 120 golf courses and arranges tee times for all. The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the resort; fees may apply.

| Hotel was great! Only issue was the service elevator broken down on Labor Day weekend, so a lot of wait time on the elevators (maids working between floors).

| My family and I have stayed at Breakers in the past. I would probably go back, however, I would choose a different room setting. I would opt for a suite or OF. The side OV was somewhat small for the family 2A2C and you had to go through 2 doors to get to the room. North is quieter and still gives you access if you want the chaos of the other ammenities offered. A very good experience.

| For an oceanfront room on a beautiful beach, this hotel was a good value for the money. The location of the hotel is good. We were a little disappointed to find out that we were at the North Tower at 27th instead of 21st Street. However, it is quieter at 27th. We took a nice walk on the beach to 21st and enjoyed the amenities there.

| The area of the beach was wonderful. The hotel was nice, but the room was small. My main disappointment was that the building with the lazy river was six blocks south of the building that I stayed in. I will be more careful when choosing my room type if I stay at the Breakers again. Further, the air conditioning unit was very loud.
