| This hotel is not up to the standards of the chain (as a moderate hotel). It didn't help that we requested a non-smoking room and got a smoking room, so we felt slightly "dirty" during our stay. A bit of a drive to the Mall. More convenient to Baltimore than DC. I guess if you are looking for cheap lodging in DC with minimal amenities, this could work for you. But I think a little research could find a better quality hotel for a similar price.

| The hotel itself was pretty decent for the price, and only about 20 minutes from D.C. by car (an hour by bus and metro). Just be careful in the neighborhood after dark...

| At check in, we asked for extra pillows to be placed in our room before we returned that evening/ not done/ desk attendant had no key to get any for us at that time of night. Breakfast had many options. Breakfast attendant did not speak english/we do not speak spanish.

| I booked the hotel for the good price I got through Expedia and the convenience of the location in the northeastern DC area. For a motel, this place was OK. The room was OK and the bathroom was generally clean. The promised free continental breakfast was almost always depleted by 8:15 and the breakfast attendant had to be "found" to replenish.

| The hotel was somewhat clean although our room had musty smell. There appeared to be a leak in the roof and spots were noticeable on the ceiling. Since we only used the room to sleep and to freshen up, it served it's purpose, but,I would think twice about staying there again.

| Even when I had an advanced reservations from 2 months ago, still had to wait for half an hour before being able to check in to the hotel. And this is at 3AM.

| hotel service was adequate. had some noisy neighbors, but eventually they were quiet. a short drive to the metro station. bus service also easily accesible. reasonable complementary breakfast and 24hr ihop nearby.
