Features
Check-in instructions: Guests check in at the Kings' Shops, 250 Waikoloa Beach Drive, suite A-4, facing Waikoloa Beach Drive.
What to expect: Opened in the fall of 2003, this hotel comprises 14 three-story buildings bordering fairways and landscaped gardens. Spacious townhouses—popular with golf- and water sports enthusiasts—are adjacent to a large reflecting pond and close to shops and a beach. Amenity highlights: In this upscale, home-away-from-home on a golf course, a waterfall feature earmarks a private, curved infinity pool. A five-minute stroll leads to the the Kings' Shops, with boutiques and restaurants. Just 1 mile away there is a bay with sandy beach, safe for swimming. Insider tip: Guests can try a different type of golf adventure at the Waimea Country Club. Located inside a eucalyptus forest on the Hilo side of the town of Waimea, the country club course is often cool and misty, even when it does not rain. Built on pastureland, the course is surrounded by cattle ranches, and golfers may see wild turkeys and pheasants as they play.
This condominium-style resort does not have its own restaurant, but the adjacent Kings' Shops and nearby Waikoloa Beach Marriott offer numerous dining options. Nearby restaurants: Hawaii Calls Nalu's Bar and Grille Merriman's Market Cafe (also sells fresh produce, fish, and meat)

| A perfect place for a golfing family. Our condo was near the 9th hole of the Beach course. We had easy access to the Bay beach across the street and the Kings shops. My sons and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

| The condo itself was great, beautiful place, close to golf, shopping, beach and food. We took our 2 kids and nanny and had plenty of room with the loft. The only draw backs were the air conditioning was not working all the time. We were to be given a specific parking spot but there was not one and was difficult finding one within the large complex. We were a bit disappointed in being able to prepare meals although the kitchen was amazing our previous experience having a full kitchen these are usually essencials in other condos like coffee filters, salt and pepper not just empty shakers, only very basic utencils were avaliable. This place may be a bit over priced but definately would go back if there were some discounts!

| The condo was beautiful as were the grounds. Very spacious and comfortable. No beach access but the infinity pool was nicer than pictured. The cleaning crew checks towels daily and makes the beds but does little other cleaning which caused me to lower my review numbers. The King's Shops nearby is pricey as are the restaurants. Other than that the place was wonderful.

| This was a great place to stay. The condo was clean and new, the size of the condo was large and geve us lots of room to unwind. My only complaint was with the beds. Way too hard. But other than that, I would highly recommend it and would stay there again.

| Parking issue is a real problem |

| The condo itself was very nice though maintenance seemed to be a real problem. We complained about several things in the condo not working and only one got fixed properly during our week long stay. Parking was also big problem during our stay. There is supposedly assigned parking at the complex, but evidently no logical way to enforce it. The complex itself has signs up that cars parked in other people's spots will be towed, but it unclear if they really enforce that or not. Someone else parked in our parking spot one night and guest parking spots were very limited, so we called Outrigger to find our where to park our rental car since our spot was taken. The Outrigger person on call said she had "no solution" for us but to just take someone else's parking spot. We asked if we could have the car in our spot towed and were told they had no real towing policy despite signs to the contrary. So we were put in this weird Catch-22 situation where we were told by the Outrigger person to take someone else's parking spot yet the condo complex signs said our car would be towed if we did that. I don't think Outrigger should even rent out the condos there anymore until they have the parking solution corrected.

| Pros: -Found the room to be clean and well furnished. -A small shopping center is located next door that can be easily walked to. -Golf course frontage for all you golf fanatics. -Fairly new construction. -Reliable housekeeping staff. Cons: -Pool too small. -AC vent/intake is too close to sofa...makes television and conversations difficult. -Must punch in a 5 digit code within 3 seconds to enter the gated driveway. Hard to do at night leaning out of the car window.

| Outrigger Fairway Villas was great. Close to all the activities you could do in Hawaii for a family. Villas were a nice mix of vacationers and actual residents. The friendliness of the residents & tips on the area were invaluable. The Villas themselves were a piece of paradise - from awesome views of the golf course to first class rooms to the latest in kitchen appliances. Abit of a hassle getting the key the first night - office is off site.

| The condominium was lovely -- clean and fresh, spacious and comfortable. Each bedroom had a bathroom, the kitchen featured granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Big screen TV, DVD player, the works. The surroundings are lovely with beautiful plantings and very well kept. Kings Shops next door are handy and feature some very nice restaurants. The maintenance and housekeeping folks were all polite and agreeable. We had a great time.
