| The management takes good care of the guests and you can expect quality hotel service. This would be the best bet to stay if you are planning to visit new york city - takes about just close to 20 minutes to reach times square from the hotel. But be cautious while trying to reach the place from Newark -- the road signs are mis-leading. You may wanna give the front desk a call asking for directions.

| The neighborhood is a little rough but the hotel is as nice as any comfort suites. Also it is a little inconvenient to have to make uturns to get to the hotel because of concrete dividers on Tonnelle

| The location of this hotel is convenient to both bus and train connections to Manhattan. The neighborhood of the hotel is fairly unattractive, but the hotel itself is bright and cheery. The staff is quite friendly and very helpful. The room was fairly spacious and easily accomodated a family of four.

| This hotel is in a bit of a run down neighborhood, but the staff was nice and the rooms were clean. Slightly worn but clean. The breakfast was okay. There was a make your own waffle station. We had a long drive through the tunnel to NYC but that was expected. I would stay here again for the price.

| I definitely recommend this hotel. Clean and large room (huge by NYC standards). Nice breakfast, newspaper, enough seats to actually eat breakfast. The thing that ruined my experience was the shuttle service which we unfortunately used once. The driver looked grumpy, was late 15 minutes still did not appear to be in a hurry and was peacefully sipping his coffee in the lobby. Then the bus stopped at another hotel where everybody was asked to get off and pay the fare inside. Cash was required in spite of the usual CC stickers on the door, other customers were interrogated for their room number (still haven't figured out for what purpose), while we were ripped off for luggage (this part of the fare was not disclosed in advance, even when we asked if luggage is accepted on the bus). If I managed this hotel I would not associate with this shady service. Do yourself a favor, walk 5 minutes uphill, and catch the regular bus on Kennedy Blvd to Port Authority Terminal for two bucks.

| I was staying in N.J. at this hotel but my real destination was NYC so I relied on the $5 shuttle bus that this hotel advertized to get me into the city. It was defintely a benefit considering it cost $40 by taxi to get from times square to the hotel. When I went to leave on a Saturday, I found out, no thanks to the hotel that they had cancelled the shuttle bus that I had signed up for to take me to the airport. They were not very helpful in arranging alternate transportation and of course it was at my own expense. I had a lovely stay at this hotel; it's a shame that something like this happened at the end of it.

| Surprisingly nice, you can tell the building was built a while ago, but still remains intact with nice features. Weight room is incredibly small, and lack a pool, but i'm definately not worried about that. Like I said, for the money, it's well worth it.

| The staff was very helpful in meeting our needs and answering our questions. The hotel was very clean as well. The restaurant next door was outstanding! Staying in New Jersey and using cabs to get to NYC is difficult, but the shuttle from the hotel to the city was a life saver.
