Ten golf courses are located within a 10-mile radius of Sonoran Suites. Directly across the street is a huge, grassy public park that includes athletic fields and an extensive children's playground. The recreational activities listed below are available either at the apartment complex or nearby; fees may apply.

What to expect: The suites offer contemporary apartment living for couples, families, and business travelers seeking tranquility, sunshine, and driving access to Las Vegas-area attractions well away from the bustling Strip.

Amenity highlights: Two large free-form pools lie within the apartment complex, each surrounded by a sundeck furnished with lounge chairs and each paired with a six-person heated spa tub. One pool is heated for year-round swimming. Within the pools' courtyards are open-air gazebos equipped with picnic tables and gas barbecue grills (complimentary).

Insider tip: A shopping center that includes a large supermarket is a quarter-mile away on the main street (West Desert Inn Road) running past the apartment complex.

When booking your stay at Sonoran Suites, you need to understand that the address posted on this web-site may not be the location you will stay at. The complex you stay at will not be called the Sonoran Suites. I made this mistake. We went to the address listed on this site and were not at the correct location. When we called the "Sonoran Suites" to try to figure out why we could not gain access to our unit we were directed, via an answering machine, to call emergency numbers. The Sonoran staff did not answer the emergency calls and did not return our calls and pages (this took place over a 2 - 3 hour period). Expedia directed us to another hotel for the night which we had to pay for. This was a very frutrating experience which I have not yet been able to resolve. Beware.
