| Expedia booked me on a flight into SBA at 1:00 AM. Got to the hotel around 2:30 AM (5:30 AM Eastern), and the office was totally closed up. What hotel closes up at 10:00 PM in the modern world? Terrible service, terrible time. Thought I would have to sleep with the bums on the beach. I eventually had to check into the hotel since I could not get a refund. Very low end but only a block or two from the beach.

| The hotel was very ordinary and old...needed some updating. But it was in a great location and we were thrilled with the short walk to the beach and downtown area.

| The screen in the only window was broken. There is no air conditioning. There was even a charge for ice. The shower curtain fell down with its rod with the first shower. It was gruesome. We booked it because we could find nothing else on line for that location and time. As it was pre-paid, we were stuck even though other hotels had vacancies.

| We had requested 2 double beds over a month ago. Upon arrival we were told there were none available however, they had given friends a room with 2 double beds the night before and they had made reservations only 3 nights earlier. Bed was new and very good. No other updates, plumbing old, lighting old and people banging doors late at night.

| We were very pleased to be so close to the beach. We walked over at 9:30pm to enjoy the full moon on the ocean water. However, it's not so nice back in the room. The most uncomfortable beds we've ever slept in and the walls are so thin. Decent cable.
