Hotel very close to Malpensa Airport and very convenient. Price was very reasonable for quality in comparison to other hotels in vicinity. No liquor in mini bar. Hotel restaurant decor was lacking and in the basement but the food was good and reasonably priced.

We stayed teh night before an early morning flight out of Malpensa airport, the shuttle was easy and ran early in the morning. The restaurant was a bit of a let down, overpriced and somewhat stuffy feeling. But there did not seem to be many options. Still I would highly recommend the hotel.

This is a great place to stay if you are staying short-term or are just stopping over. It is located within five minutes of the terminal area of Malpensa airport and runs a complimentary airport shuttle. There is a restaurant next door and a pub down the street, but little else in the direct vicinity.

A bit pricey for a 4 star but you are paying for convenience. They have a free airport shuttle that starts running at 5am-- very convenient. The restaurant is located in the basement and has a weird decor. We had dinner there and found the food to be of average quality and overpriced.

Very high priced & if having to leave prior to restaurant opening in a.m. they will not fix you a meal ahead to take on road. We asked for 2 hardboiled eggs for which they charged 5 Euros and they were almost raw when we had specified 4 minute eggs. Breakfast was included in the price. Night manager did arrange for transportation to airport when the taxi they had requested did not arrive.

For anyone needing an overnight stay at a hotel near the Malpensa International Airport near Milan Italy, I recommend the First Hotel Malpensa. It is five minutes from the airport via the free hotel shuttle. However, what you need to know beforehand is how to call the hotel to request the shuttle at one of the airport's public phones. We were fortunate enough to have a friendly Italian person show us. Once at the hotel, the staff speaks enough English. And the hotel restaurant provided a good moderately priced Italian dinner as well as a complimentary continental breakfast.

Major virtue of hotel is closeness to airport, but prices of restaurant and bar are way out of line.

I chose the hotel because it was close to the airport. The shuttle service to the hotel was very prompt. The quality of the hotel and the size of the rooms was surprising given its hid away location. The restaurant was adequate, but pricy for the quality of the food.
