The bed was extremely comfortable. However, the shower is not and the hard core Danish style is not comfortable for my tastes. OK for quick business trip, but you wouldn't want to stay here for long. Other options are available. Has a rep for being hip. Didn't have the breakfast so I can't speak to that. Location is pretty decent though.

Located on a quite street within walking distance of many good restaurants, train station and downtown. Be sure to check to see if breakfast is included in your room fee as we thought it was but it did not.

We really enjoyed our stay at Skt. Petri Hotel. The hotel offered a great, central location; excellent service by the staff; and a clean, colorful design that was a breath of fresh air from older-style hotels. Again, the location is super and easily beats the new Marriot down by the harbor and the hotels around the Central Station in terms of easy walking access to sights, shopping, restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, no complaints. Our room was upgraded when we checked in (which they also did early, at 1pm), but do keep in mind that hotel rooms in Europe usually are quite a bit smaller than in the US. The room was very clean and faced the pedestrian street -- which is OK as this part of town does not get very noisy at night. We would very likely stay at Skt. Petri again when we are back in Copenhagen.

They strive to be 5 star but fall short due to sometimes spacey service. As an example, my husband and I were there over Xmas and asked the concierge where we could go to eat on Xmas day. They did not onlly not know, it took them hours to find out that we could go to a mediocre place around the corner. That said, they really tried, and when we asked for more places the next day (which was also a holiday) they had a list readily available.

We booked a "Double Superior Room" and got a very small hotel room - I can't images that there are smaller rooms than ours. There were no shower curtains (or rod) and the floor was stained from water dripping from the toilet. There were no cabinets. We had to pay for Internet access ($70 for a week or $20 for a day). The location is awesome - you're right downtown but I've stayed in better hotels in Copenhagen (I'm Danish) and I doubt we'll go back. The hotel bar is currently a hip place to hang out on saturday evening

Copenhagen is a wonderful city and the Skt Petri Hotel is definiatly one of the best hotels there, it probably used to be the best. I travel frequently to Copenhagen for both business and pleasure and have stayed at most of the better hotels there. The Skt Petri was a blessing when it opned a fe years back and it kept on being an owerall good hotel that was a pleasure to stay at. Neverthe less, during my last stay, last weekend, I am sorry to say, it has beguin to decline. Service was definiatly rapidly falling down sveral catagories, the main restaurant served cold food and the bar had become a disco over all of the hotel until at 02:00 in the night - which can be very inconveniant for those whom have to wake up early. Overall I might give it another try to see if this last experiance was some special pre x-mas stress on the staff, it breaks my heart to say it, but I will definiatly be looking around for another favorite hotel in Copenhagen.
