This motel is simply an inexpensive place to stay. It is a good place to store your luggage if you don't plan to spend any time in your motel.

People were friendly, but this is a very cheap motel in a Tahoe that has been trying to upgrade its cheap motel district. The air conditioner - secured to the windowsill with what looked like nine rolls of duct tape - had its knobs removed, and was on full blast, groaning and rattling comically. The sheets were too short for the queen-sized bed. the "Roadside" part of the name was illustrated by the cars that sounded like they were driving through the bathroom as people roared around the busy Stateline area. I would have done better to have found a cheap deal at one of the casinos.

Title says it all. Nice being right next to the casinos but there was nothing else that stood out about the place. The a/c didn't work but the night cooled off enough so that it was not a real problem.

You get what you paid for - sticky spost on carpet, hot water turned off the morning of our checkout, you can hear others thru the walls, swiming pool was a black pool of goo....but it was cheap and directly across from the casinos.

This place looked like they hadn't worked or done any improvements since 1950. - There was mold on the ceiling, dirty blankets & cover-also old, broken tiles, toilet & tub leaked, & faucets didn'twork, plaster was corroded around window- which didn't work & weren't secure, plaster was coming down from the ceiling. The office & area around yard was full of trash & plastic flowers.

Just got back from the Roadside Inn. Staff was VERY friendly and you can't beat the location. Room was a bit small and needs to be remodeled. Had to wear socks at all times. Only plan on watching 1 station on the 1983 TV. Room is a bit noisy with the Harvey's Bus center across the way. Plan on bringing a couple lamps if you plan on reading anything. Watch the steps to go upstairs..most of them were broken. I would probably stay here again for the location for the slopes and casinos.
