The Meridian Club Amenities
Situated on a two-mile stretch of brilliant white sand beach, the Meridian Club holds court as the only resort on Pine Cay, a private 800-acre island. A walkway snakes from the hotel’s central two-story clubhouse through landscaped tropical gardens, to its duplex and furled accommodations. The 12 guestrooms are sheltered by sand dunes, sea oats, and sea grapes, with panoramic views of the ocean and rolling limestone ridges that swath the landscape. The emphasis is on peace and quiet, with no TVs, radios, cars, or ringing telephones. Guests stroll between the outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, alabaster beaches, and garden terrace restaurant without ever donning shoes—even for dinner. The hotel provides complimentary recreational equipment such as kayaks, bicycles, catamarans, and snorkeling gear. The poolside open-air restaurant is the setting for breakfast, buffet lunches, and candlelight dinners. (All meals are included in the room price.) The poolside bar serves cocktails all day long, and is the site of evening barbeques and live music.
