| This is the first all-inclusive resort that I have been to, and it was outstanding. My wife and I were looking for an extended-weekend, romantic vacation, and I don't think we could have found a better one. The resort is isolated from all the others, and it is a short ride from the airport. We felt like we were staying in an upscale tropical village, and wish we could have stayed longer.

| My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, we actually changed our trip when there to stay another night, that is how pleased we were. The beach is nice but no surf. The restaurants are great and not buffet style like most all incusive places, also the room service is nice for snacking. If you like to drink and eat alot this is the place for you.

| Beautiful grounds Wonderful staff excellent service. Quiet atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Will be better when new restaurant Fuentes opens. The beach was decimated by the hurricane so if ocean swimming is your thing forget it. I don't think the no swimming signs ever come down. The method they are using to repair the beach is very backward and will require years. I coulde have done without being woken up each day by the concierge trying to get me to tour the Casistas.

| This is a great resort, but like previously mentioned take $1 for tipping.. The only thing we didn't like was, it is hard to reservations for the restuarants in the evening.. Either you eat at the same one each night or you get 9:30pm settings.. If you like seafood you are good! if not.. Well ask if they have something with beef or chicken! No side dishes, no carbs or vegs at dinner just meat! JoJo's is the best at lunch time!

| This hotel is terrific. The food is excellent and you will be fed very well. The Italian Restaurant was difficult to get a reservation for, but well worth the wait. Lots of different pools with swim up bars provide for plenty of variety. Great place for a honeymoon!

| My wife and I had a great time in the swim up Casita's, the price to us was well worth it! A few tips for people who don't know what to expect... tips should be included for the all inclusive package, tip only if you feel you received exceptional service, although you will find they have staff for everything....and they all have their hands out. Also the food was pretty good in our opinions, but you can't just grab something to eat ever....you have to go into a restaurant and do the sit down full service every single meal....a bit annoying at say lunch when you just want to grab a sandwich or something and go back to the beach. Also they say there is a dress code for dinner, no beach sandals or tennis shoes and dress shorts, pants and collared shirts....we had no warning of this, but it was never a problem, we had nice enough cloths, collared shirts and kahki shorts, but only had beach sandals and were never refused service.

| my wife and I had a wonderful time at the El Dorado Royale. The hotel is beautiful it is in a remote area in the jungle along the coast. we stayed in the ocean front villas. we were on the bottom floor of a tri-level building. we had a large room with a jacuzzi bathtub and a window and slider overlooking a private pool and the ocean. The hotel staff were very helpful and they all spoke good english. The food was excellent gourmet type meals( small portions)but with the dessert was plenty of food. The rooms came always stocked beer, sodas, and water. The mixed drinks were excellent, they used the real stuff and they were mixed fresh right in front of you. The different resturants were good, we were unable to get a resevation for the italian and mexican restaurants. we probably could of got into those restaurants if we wanted to but we were fine with the restaurants that we eat at.
