Sosua Bay Hotel - All Inclusive Amenities
The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information). An air-conditioned fitness center provides cardio machines, a Universal gym, and free weights, and there's a room for massage (surcharge). An Internet center contains 10 computers with high-speed connections (surcharges). An air-conditioned room contains pool and foosball tables, a television, and a dart board. Ground transportation:

Recreation
The majority of recreational activities and facilities described below are included in the room rate for this resort (scroll up to the All-Inclusive details section for more information). A two-level complex above Sosúa Bay features two irregularly shaped pools, measuring 18.25m (60-ft) and 13.75m (45-ft). Also located above the bay is a secluded 10-person spa tub. Adjacent their clubhouse, children have their own 6m (20-ft) pool and eight-person spa tub. Sosúa Bay Beach extends 1 km (0.75 mi) west of the hotel, with the hotel's beach frontage on the eastern end measuring 20m (22 yds). Lounge chairs are available on this section. The hotel supplies snorkeling gear, pedal boats, and kayaks. Additional All-Inclusive water-sports equipment such as windsurfers and sailboats are available at a companion hotel in the windsurfing town of Cabarete 8 km (5 mi) away, to which there are complimentary shuttles mornings and afternoons. Independent operators on Sosúa Bay offer rentals for personal watercraft, banana-boating, sailing, and water skiing. An independent dive center at the hotel provides complimentary introductory scuba-diving lessons in the larger pool. It also offers scuba-diving instruction/certification and scuba-diving and snorkeling excursions (surcharges for all). What to expect: A three-story open-air lobby with spiral wrought-iron staircase and terra-cotta tile floor exemplifies the hotel's colonial style. Couples, singles, and families arrive for beach vacations, with adults also enjoying walking-distance access to Sosúa's lively, 24-hour resort district.
Amenity highlights: A two-level pool complex with swim-up bar includes an island with trees shading lounges overlooking Sosúa Bay. Lower on the hillside, sunning decks border the bay. Sosúa Bay Beach adjacent to the hotel extends 1 km (0.75 mi). The hotel supplies snorkeling gear, pedal boats, and kayaks. Complimentary shuttles go to a companion hotel in the windsurfing town of Cabarete, where guests enjoy access to all facilities, including restaurants and water sports.
Insider tip: Sosúa was settled during World War II by Austrian and German Jews. The story of the flight from Nazism is preserved in a museum, Museo Judio Sosúa 200m (219 yds) from the hotel.
