| Clean hotel, Not a full service hotel more of a motel w/resturant. Nice staff..a bit over worked. Cookies and cool drink in lobby on check in. Breakfast is a Buffet, understaffed but kind and average to below average food. You have to wait....wait for omelets and waffles. NO view from room other than parking lots, clean updated formica room decor, no atmosphere, twenty bucks day to park on site and there's no offsite and very noisy a/c uits in each room.

| The hotel staff was really friendly and we were satisfied with the room we stayed in. The location is great - there's a Whole Foods nearby and Panera bread, and three Starbucks - one in the hotel, and two in walking distance. There were also small restaurants that were unique (like Ethiopian cuisine down the road). There's also several old churches and other great architecure around - definitely a visual treat. When we got there, we couldn't park anywhere in the hotel lot. We pulled up to the door, and was informed that valet parking was the norm, and unloaded right there. There wasn't anybody to help us with our bags or even a trolley to help us get to our room. It was no big deal since we didn't have that much stuff, but it would've been nice to have something with wheels to cart our stuff with. Since it was sorta mandatory, I though the valet parking was complimentary, but I got a bill for it at the end of my stay. Unfortunately, there is not really another option unless you want to park on the street and keep putting quarters in. As far as the room goes, internet is through an ethernet connection; great for those who are worried about security on a public wireless network.

| Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, very good breakfast. $20 a day for parking your car is a bit outrageous, though.

| Great place with easy access to Univ. of Pittsburgh, Carnegie-Mellon Univ., Oakland, and Shadyside. Perfect if you have family members hospitalized at UPMC-Shadyside. Hotel is new (3 years), and very well maintained, with friendly and excellent service. The rooms were spacious and well appointed as well. The only catch is if you have a car - only valet parking exists at ~$20.00/day. Despite the "catch", it's a great place to stay and enjoy Pittsburgh.
