| The location was great, within easy walking distance to many Warsaw sights. With so many landmarks within view you do not ever worry about becoming lost. Location has lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants and so close to Arbat. The rooms were a one bedroom apartment not a hotel room. The kitchen was nice, and there are a couple of grocery stores nearby. Staff is so helpful and friendly - was met with no problem by security at 10:00 PM on Friday. Checkout a snap - turned in the key and they called me a cab. Was a restful and enjoyable stay. All in all I found the Residence St Andrews Palace to be a great place to stay, and will stay there again if I should return to Warsaw. I got to feel part of the neighborhood the week I was there.

| The location was great, within easy walking distance to many Warsaw sights. Being so close to the Palace of Culture was very helpful, as you don't ever worry about being lost because you can see this landmark from so many places. The hotel is located in the Chmielna Street which has lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants. The restaurants cover a nice range of prices. The room was wonderful, more like a one bedroom apartment then a hotel room. The kitchen was nice, and there is a grocery store nearby. I was a little bit worried about the front desk only being open Monday to Friday 9-7, but had no problems checking in on Sunday afternoon or checking out at 5am on Thursday. On Sunday the security guard was waiting in the courtyard with my check in package, as well as the packages of other arriving guests. When I checked out he offered to order a cab, but one had already been booked by the front desk the previous day. The security guard was very helpful and friendly as was the rest of the hotel staff that I encountered. All in all I found the Residence St Andrews Place to be a terrific place to stay, and will stay there again if I should return to Warsaw.

| The hotel rooms were very spacious and well decorated. It had a little kitchen and a dining area. Breakfast is included during the week and it was pretty good...meats, cheese and pastry. The hotel was pretty quiet and the location was very good. It was very close to the Palace of Culture and Science as well as the Central train station. The Old Town was only an easy 10-15 minute walk away. The only thing to be aware of is that the reception is only open from 9-5 M-F so if you come on the weekend you check in with the security guard who will check you in and show you your room. But it was still very easy. There is no one to answer the phone when reception is closed (i.e. on the weekend) so we had relatives trying to call us and no one answered so the relatives weren't sure if they had the right number. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

| We stayed at the Residence for three nights in February '05 and were very pleased with the hotel. It's perfect for longer stays because it is set up like an apartment -- small kitchen w/ fridge, stove and microwave. Our spacious room had a sitting area, a dining nook and two bedrooms. We did not feel like we were on top of each other all the time, which is great when you have kids. The hotel is located in a great area -- lots of restaurants and shops (including a big grocery store). It's accessible to public transportation to take you to Old Town (Bus 180/Metro) or anywhere else you want to go.
