| Excellent hotel. Great airport location. However, I think that the rates are too high. Particularly for people that are there just to pick up an early flight.

| The shuttle service from the airport runs 24 hours every 15 minutes. This is very convenient. The breakfast is very good and coffee and tea are available all the time. The free Internet access is fast and available in all rooms. This is a good location to begin and end your stay in Costa Rica.

| Great hotel for coming in and out of San Jose! You can catch a shuttle anytime from the airport, and rent a car from Thrifty, Budget, Economy, Poas, etc. across the street the next morning. Their exchange rates are even better than at the airport! Plus, great breakfasts (to go, if you are up before 6am). Highly recommended.

| We really enjoyed the easy transition into Costa Rican culture afforded us by staying at an American hotel staffed by welcoming, bi-lingual Tico staff. The hotel is very close to the international airport & offers a free shuttle. Car rental companies are close by, as well as three restaurants. This hotel allowed us to rest from our long flight before tackling a new language, culture, and some never-to-be-forgotten roads. We enjoyed the wonderful complimentary hot breakfast before leaving the next morning. We booked the Hampton for our last night before flying home, also, since most of our time was spent on the Pacific coast.

| Extremely close to the airport. Car rental located right across the street. Only problem is there are no restaurants close (only a Denny's...serves beer though). THere is also a casino/bar attached to the Denny's. Free shuttle from airport a great perk. Great place to stay for first night in San Jose.

| Very nice place to go at beginning or end of a trip: to be so near the airport, with reliable fast transportation to the airport every 15 minutes 24/7. No worries, and a good breakfast!

| I stayed at the Hampton on a business trip for three nights. Location very near the airport without airport noise disturbance. Everything really great, particularly the very spacious and comfortable rooms. One morning, the Hampton made a mistake in wake up call, and called me at 04:00 am instead of the requested 06:30 am. Since I was not 100% satisfied, they offered me the night free of charge. That's consequent and I liked that! Highly recommendable place.
