| There are much better hotels in Anchorage but this is small and quiet.

| This hotel looked good in the pictures, but not when I arrived. Great if you want a hunting cabin atmophere. I took my family for one night, and they wanted to leave because the hotel was so digusting. Not clean and uncomfortable.

| We wish some of the more recent reviews were posted before we booked. We stayed here only because of its proximity to the airport but it wasn't comfortable and the tile floors amplified every sound in neighboring rooms and the hallway. Bed was very uncomfortable. The room did not have an alarm clock, which should be required at a place near the airport! Luckily, we had our own. Would not recommend this location to anyone.

| The room was barely a 12x12 foot box. There was no alarm clock - no clock in the room period. There were two remotes for the TV - one didn't work at all; the other didn't control the volume. No where near worth the money.

| May, 2006. This seems to be an old facility in the course of being updated. The inside is completely refurbished and nicely appointed with plenty of room. Many rooms/suites offer refrigerator-stove combos. The outside still needs some work and parking is at a premium. Overall, we found it quite comfortable, convenient, and it is within walking distance of a good restaurant. It is only 2 miles from the airport, and is also away from the busy downtown congestion, but only by a few minutes. We found it easy to get around Anchorage from the location.

| The bed was extremely uncomfortable but most of all, as far as the unimpressed part, was due to the fact that there was no hot water. And no hot water handle on the sink. rather disappointing but the employee's were helpful but definitely no 5 star rating, ha ha!

| Rooms were not ready at checkin, waited 2 hours. The building is very old and noisey, you can hear everyone moving in the surrounding rooms and hallways. Slamming doors, people running upstairs, barking dog in the building. The room heat was uncontrolled and we roasted in our own sweat. We were told to open a window by the front desk. Broken fixtures. Beds worn out and smelled. Shower knobs fell off in my hands. Front desk folks were curt and lots of attitude. Desk would not answer the phone,(their personal phone calls we more important) we never got our wake up calls. No internet, no clocks, no coffee, no breakfast. No parking, bad neighborhood. This one is a zero and should be removed from the search. This place is only interested in your money not your comfort! Front desk called at 1am to ask what our names were and how we got this room??? Free-would be over pricing this wonder!

| I thought I was staying at the bEST vALUE instead I felt "tricked". Its not the best place but for a cheap price it will do, it is cold in the room. the staff is great which makes up for the discomfort. the bed kept coming away from the walk, the floor was cold - no carpet and the walls are thin as hell.

| All we really needed was a comforable place to stay while visiting our son. Our daughter and her little boy came with us. Our hotel was the perfact size for all of us. Close to downtown and not far from where our son lives. We had a great time.

| The hotel was "OK" at best. Luckly we only stayed there one night, otherwise I would have made different arrangments. If you are looking for a cheap and quick stay, then this works. Otherwise it pays to "look around first".
