This was my first time to Jamaica and we will return to Hedo II. The hotel was great, the staff and entertainment staff were great, the hotel grounds and beach were clean and beautiful. The only problems we had were that the locals on the beach would come and ask you to buy drugs but the security did a great job of keeping most of them back and you feel really safe knowing that they are there to help you. The food here is the best. The varity is great and there is so much food to pick from that you can always find something to eat. Each dining time lasted three hours so there was plenty of time to eat. Also the restauraunts were open at all time. The bars were great and you could order anything anytime with very little wait. I will return to this hotel. Loved every minute.

The service at Hedo II was outstanding. There was time after a heavy rain when there were not open (dry) tables, a waiter had us seated w/utensils in less than a minute. The food was absolutely top notch. "Charlies House" for the omelets is a can't miss for breakfast. We stayed on the nude side but my wife is a "prude". Keep an open mind and you'll love this place. The pools are great, waterslide is fun and the watersports are pretty decent. My only complaint is the bed was real hard and not too comfortable - but it didn't stop us from testing the springs!

I was impressed with the professional, friendly staff. There were so many great activities, but then it was great to just lay around in one of many hammocks or loungers throughout the resort. The bars and dining are located on all sides, so everything is as convenient as can be. They provide towels at the water sports counter and near the pool, though they go fast. There are local artists selling their creations near the water sports, in the rock/tree garden, and on the catamaran. Everything else being included, don't forget to take along a some money for these itmes. The main store has almost everything imaginable that you could ever need and the jewelry/perfume store has great things for those wanting something extra nice. And because they didn't have our room ready the first night, we were compensated with two free messages. This resort has a great team of dining staff, entertainment personnel, and activities leaders. I will be hard to top this vacation experience!

We didn't expect to like it as much as we did. Forget all the myths about what goes on here. If you are going here to "hookup" then travel down with reasonable expectations. (Unless you are a single female - then you are in heaven). It's best to go down with your romatic partner. The energy of the place is fantastic. The rooms aren't great. The beach isn't great. The food was good, but not earth shattering. The free booze was adequite. But the people are fantastic. Both the staff (which is friendly and hard working) and the other guests are just amazing people. Expect to meet some friends for life. I understand why this place as a 90% return rate (highest in all the of carribean). We went down for our aniversary. Most of all: Get naked! Don't wait until the last day to venture to the nude beach. Get it over on the first day. Don't worry, no body is going to care how big or old or wrinkled you are. Honest. The absolutest coolest people hang out in the nude section. It's very laid back and friendly. You might seem some "wild" behavior, especially if you venture to the nude hot-tub around midnight. But most of the time it was just great people hanging out. After a few hours there, it will seem the most natural thing in the world.
