| very nice hotel in a very quiet place not so far from Trevi and Villa Borghese. A nice play to stay to visit Rome while for those who favor quietness.

| This hotel served it's purpose; it is comfortable, clean, in a good location, and the staff was helpfull. Thst's pretty much all you can ask from a hotel. I will stay there again the next time I am in Rome.

| We stayed at the Sofitel Roma twice, both arriving and departing Italy, and were extremely pleased both times. The service was immpecable, the staff very accomodating, and the location is great. An example--we arrived at 10 am after a train ride from Florence, and went to the hotel to deposit our bags. The desk offered us a room that was ready instead, so we had a room to use during the day, and informed us that if we wanted a cup of coffee, the breakfast buffet was open until 10:30. Try either of those in your average chain hotel. The staff also helped arrange guides, dinners, a car to the airport, and other amenities that were graciously done. We would only stay in this hotel in Rome.

| The refined elegance of this old mansion-turned-hotel is great. My only issue was with the bed which was old, had no bed cover and no duvet. Other than that it was wonderful. The location is incredible: two blocks from Via Veneto and two blocks to Spanish steps. You can't ask for a better neighborhood.

| Sofitel Roma was a great hotel, located on a quiet side street, but close enough to great restraunts and shops. The breakfast offered every morning was a buffett, but it had the quality of your local bagel shop with great taste, and attentive waiters at your disposal. The only drawback of the hotel was the air conditioning, it was apperently on, but didnt blow cold air, but from what I hear that is how it is through Europe, on the other side, the window opened which kept it cool all night. The hotel had a fabulous bathroom with marble floor and great toiletries. Overall 4 and 1/2 Stars

| one concern: hotel internet connection needs improvement. Wireless internet interferes with high speed hard line internet connection. Hotel staff is very cooperative in fixing problems, but still annoying. Otherwise, a great hotel, conveniently located, and a delightful, friendly, and helpful staff.
