Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel - On Disneyland Resort Property Amenities
With its breezy, beachy theme of easy California living, the 15-story Disney's Paradise Pier® Hotel features a rooftop pool on the third floor. Kids enjoy the Disney-character wake-up calls and the hotel's Paradise Theater, a children-focused room with beach chairs and a sand-like carpet where Disney films and TV shows are shown on a television ensconced in a faux sand castle.

The hotel also offers daily themed breakfasts with visits by Minnie & Friends in a contemporary California restaurant; the other main restaurant on-site serves traditional Japanese cuisine, including fresh sushi. Both self and valet parking is offered, and turndown service is available on request, for an additional charge.

High-speed Internet access is available in all guestrooms as well as the Surfside Lounge, Good Libations (pool area), business center, and concierge lounge.

Recreation
Carefree California living is the focus at this Disney-owned resort, which offers a rooftop pool surrounded by tropical foliage and a large patio with an adjacent bar for adult guests. Towels are available poolside. An on-site fitness center called Team Mickey's Workout Room II provides treadmills, StairMasters, free weights, and various other weight machines for guests looking to break a sweat.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: Families experience the casual California lifestyle in this fine, contemporary hotel overlooking the adjacent Disney's California Adventure™ park. Close to all of the Disney Resort excitement, this deluxe but low-key venue still affords an aura of privacy and relaxation.

Amenity highlights: The large outdoor pool and spa tub are privately positioned on the third-floor rooftop, and are surrounded by exquisitely terraced gardens. Disney's PCH Grill, a trendy California-style restaurant, steals kid's hearts with its daily Minnie & Friends theme breakfasts. Yamabuki, meanwhile, earns kudos for its fine preparations of traditional Japanese cuisine, including fresh sushi. High-speed Internet access is available in all guestrooms as well as the Surfside Lounge, Good Libations (pool area), business center, and concierge lounge.

Insider tip: It's possible to relax by the pool while still partaking of some park action; the far end of the pool affords an excellent viewing spot for the fireworks show.

Disney's PCH Grill - The "PCH" stands for Pacific Coast Highway, and this contemporary grill honors its name by serving American favorites with a California focus. Open for breakfast and dinner, the restaurant offers dishes such as fried calamari, make-your-own pizzas, fish tacos, and burgers, and also features daily character breakfasts with Minnie & Friends.

Yamabuki - Accessed from an outside entrance, this traditional Japanese restaurant serves authentic cuisine, including fresh sushi and teriyaki and tempura dishes for lunch on weekdays and dinner every day. A variety of Japanese beers and sake is offered, as is a children's menu.

Coffee Bar - This stylish lobby lounge offers specialty coffees and fresh bakery goods in the mornings, and a full bar later in the day.

Pool Bar - The bar is open seasonally for beverages and light meals.

Front desk staff was very very helpful. Rates were very reasonable, comparitably to the other Disneyland property hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a property I would return to.

This was the first time my family and I have stayed at a Disneyland Resort. The hotel was extremely family-friendly and the theme parks were only a short walk away. We were especially pleased with the conveniently-located resort-guest entrance to the California Adventure. It made traveling back and forth between the hotel and the park a breeze. We would recommend this hotel to any family wanting the Disney experience!

Great staff, room was above average but not great. Highlight was the Lilo and Stitch breakfast, kids loved it. Parking was very convenient, swimming pool a bit too small. For the difference in price we would take it again over The Disneyland Hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was good. 10 minute (or less) walk to both parks. Pool was plain. Rooms were functional. Felt like rate was a little high for the overall stay. I'd give it a 3 to 3.5 out of 5.

The Paradise Pier Hotel is great! Clean with a friendly staff, this hotel is in walking distance to DisneyLand and Downtown Disney. I think that this is the best hotel on the Disney property, and I will definitely go back!

The view of the theme park is awesome! My kids really enjoyed waking up and retiring after a long night at the theme parks as if they never left at all. We stayed during 4th of July holiday. The convienience of having to buy tickets at the desk and having an exclusive entrance to the parks reserved only Disney Hotel guests, made our stay all the more enjoyable. It saved us alot of headache from waiting in long lines you would experience during prime time of summer. Having anxious kids, it certainly made staying here a huge advantage! We wished we could've stayed longer to enjoy the many amenities , the theme park like pool, restaurants and fitness center. Can't wait to return .
