| The hotel has a good location. However, the parking situation is a serious problem. We would return at 9 pm at night and not be able to find a parking spot. That is unacceptable. Also, we were awakened early almost every day by hotel maintenance banging and pounding away in the rooms below. Hey, I am on vacation! I would like to sleep past 7 AM, thank you! No on-site restaurant turned out to be a drawback also. There were no NORMAL eating establishments nearby. There was Thai, Turkish, Indian, etc with two fast food joints (Wienerschnitzel (?) and Jack in the Box). There is a Starbucks close by.

| Though the Somerset hotel was in the exact neighborhood I wanted to be in on my recent trip, I was not impressed with the service or the condition of the hotel. Every day I had to go to the front desk to have my room key "reset" so I could enter my room - This was very annoying and a problem when returning late in the evening. Maid service was sloppy and the room really showed its wear.

| The main selling point of the hotel is its easy access to West Hollywood and the Sunset Strip. Be sure to ask the cost of parking. It was something outrageous...like $25/day.

| This hotel was convenient because it was a suite with lots of closet space. It wasn't exactly new but it was clean. The location was right off the freeway and close to all of the hospitals. Since it was off the freeway it was somewhat loud but not in a heavily traveled location so not too bad.

| This was an OK place to stay, with friendly service, and it was a good value in the fall season. The room decor is dated and unattractive, but it's roomy with a kitchenette. Breakfast, social hour and parking are a plus. This was a step up from where I stayed on my last trip there.

| I have stayed at this hotel dozens of times over the years and have been very happy. It has a great location and the suite style rooms are priced right. The problem now seems to be a lack of maintenance. The mattress sagged and needs to be replaced. There were broken tiles on the bathroom floor, broken light switches and a very loud fan in the bathroom. With a little TLC it could be as good as ever.

| Accommodations were satisfactory. The front desk service was extremely poor. They obviously do not understand the concept of customer service.

| this place was a very people friendly place. they have free food!! when we got there they had a social event where you could go to a room with tables and a tv and grab a few snacks and drinks. and in the morning there was breakfast, and it was pretty good. i would recommend this hotel to anyone, it's a people friendly/family friendly place with a very nice staff. our door was a little hard to lock because it would get jammed, but that was the only problem. the room was stocked with a kitchen that had a fridge, stove and other supplies which was really helpful.

| The hotel looks a bit shabby at first glance, but is well maintained and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Parking is a big plus. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance, with shuttles to zoo, convention center, etc. Everything is close by.Rooms are large with a lot of storage space and the kitchen is clean and set up well for cooking. This is a great place for those who are out all day and just looking for a comfortable place to crash and sleep. Pool is under renovation. We were there off season so it was pretty quiet. I'd go there again!
