| When we arrived the room appeared clean and well maintained. That evening we went out to dinner and returned to the hotel with a bottle of wine to enjoy in our room. We found that the ice machine was empty so out we went to get ice as the 2nd ice machine was out of order. Upon returning to the hotel we found that the A/C condencer had frozen so we had to shut it off to defrost. The A/C continued to freeze up durring our entire stay about every 3 hours so we had to shut it down and let it defrost. We reported this to the front desk and were told they would send someone to fix it which never happened. There was also an attempt to fix the ice machine after 3 days but this to was to no availe. As for the continental breakfast that was included there was a long waite no matter what time you got there due to insuficient seating. The parking was also insuficiant for the facility. After the 2nd day the toilet and shower backed up which was fixed but the entire hotel had a musty smell because it appeared that this was a common occurance. After the first nights stay the only maid service was the bed made and towels changed but with each passing day there were less towels than the day before and after the 3rd day there was no bath mat. The trash was not emptied until the can was completely full, rather than on a daily basis. The pool was always crowded and there was never any open seating. It was a good thing we spent more time sight seeing than time at the hotel.

| My overall experience was fairly good, the staff was excellent and the except for a couple things almost perfect. The housekeeping stunk! and our TV didn't have a very clear picture, but other than that no problem.

| The only inconvenience was that the hotel is very far from San Juan Airport, and the taxis fare is expensive. Asides from that I would recommend the hotel to anyone who needs a nice and quiet place to stay in Ponce Puerto Rico.
