If its romance you are looking for, it can be found in the Rose Room, the Wood Room, and five other rooms equipped with a fireplace, one with a furnace, and two with a loft. Alpine Lodge cuisine can be described as a fusion of ethnic world cooking underpinned by the influence of Swiss cuisine. The focal point of Alpine Lodge culinary excellence is in the freshness of our ingredients and the presentation of our dishes, always with a nod to creativity and just a touch of humor. Many dishes are served family-style on large platters, complete with oversized place settings and serving utensils. Even traditional dishes are served with a dash of originality--for example the Alpine Lodge Wiener Schnitzel sliced into broad strips, coated in herbed breadcrumbs, and served on an oversized wooden cutting board. Once or twice a week we hold eclectic food festivals, such as BBQ and pasta evenings, or even traditionally Swiss roesti banquets in the tipi tent. The Alpine Lodge Wellness Center provides you with the peace and total relaxation you need to bring you calm, as well as fuelling with you energy for days of action and adventure. The facilities of our 500 square meter Wellness Center are included in the room rates for the use of guests (excluding solarium and massage). Swim laps or simply paddle around in our uniquely designed L-shaped indoor-outdoor swimming pool. The water is heated year-round to a temperature of 29 degrees! Relax in the Finnish sauna or breathe deeply in the Turkish steam bath. A spacious cool-down zone with loungers is also provided to relax and unwind, and there?s always the solarium to top up your holiday tan. Pump iron and keep your body in shape in our Fitness Room. The Alpine Lodge has a Massage Center that offers partial and full-body massages, Thai massage, and foot-reflex massage. Additional Information: Children age 4 and under stay free in the room of parents and in existing bedding. Children 5-12 receive a 50% reduction with 2 paying adults; children age 13-25 receive a 30% reduction with 2 paying adults.
