The room was decent. Don't expect nothing wonderful or modern. We only stayed there because it was the week before Labor Day and all of the good resorts were booked. The room was somewhat clean, outdated, and the pillows were horrible to sleep on. You could smell a strong smell of clorine from the in-door pool at the check-in lobby.

We arrived at the Hotel several hrs. before check in time and pre-registered .We then returned at 4:00p.m to check in. There were about 20 other people there to check in as well. There was only one person at the counter to check in people. It took about an hr. to finally get checked into our room. As we waited to check in, 4 of the 7 people that checked in ahead of us had come back down to the front desk to say that there room was not cleaned yet from the guests of the night before. This hotel has a swimming pool, kiddy pool and a hot tub each inside and outside as well, when we looked out the window down into the outside pool area , you could see the dirt on the floor of the kiddy pool and the hot tub was half full of muddy water, and I do mean "Muddy".When we did go to the inside pool, there was no towels, the lady at the front desk said they have a hard time keeping clean, dry towels. Also the hotel washer and dryer that is for public use, did not work. Would I recommend this hotel to other people ? No Way !

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The check-in is not the quickest, but they are polite. If looking for a hotel stay without all the huss and bussle this is a good one to stay at. They do have morning coffee and donuts, cereal and toast. We were not aware of this the first time we stayed, would have been nice to have known that, especially when going on vacation on a budget with 4 kids. We may return there not leaving that option out.

Me and my husband, along with our 5 year old daughter stayed at the Camelot recently. From the description it sounded like a great place for families with young children. The only thing that marginally impressed me were the pools. Otherwise, our room was not very clean. Mold on the shower curtain, marks on the walls, and dirt in the elevator and other common areas did not impress me. I honestly don't think that the sheets had been changed prior to our arrival. We will probably stay elsewhere should we return to the area in the future.

When we showed up with our three kids at 10pm on the first night of our stay, Camelot told us we didn't have a reservation. They showed me a fax they sent Expedia saying they had no rooms. Half an hour later, we were in a room, getting the kids down. An hour later the front desk called (and woke up the kids) to tell me that they thought we'd be able to stay more than one night. The continental breakfast is served in an area made for watching the lobby TV. The line for a box of cereal was 30 people deep at 8am. The slide at outdoor pool could barely move children down it.

We took our two year old and nine month old and they had a blast. The pool starts out at 3 in. so our youngest was able to sit up in the water and splash, and even crawl around. The slides were perfect for our toddler, and it was not too crowded so she was easy to keep an eye on. We would definetly go back. I wouldn't recommend the Camelot for older kids, but for toddlers and under you can't beat the price.

We recently took our 2yr old to the hotel. The pools there are perfect for a young child. She had a blast sliding down the water slides. We had a hard time getting her out of the pool. The rooms were very clean and it was nice not to have to fight a huge crowd to swim. We will for sure be going back next year!!
