    Hotel Juana Amenities
Only one block from sandy public beaches, this 1931 hotel offers its own beach resort, one km (0.5 mile) to the south. A complimentary shuttle takes hotel guests to and from the resort, which is open May through September. Guests can also walk to the beach resort, which is open to the public but complimentary for hotel guests, with sandy beaches and three restaurants: the informal Restaurant de la Plage for light and informal lunches at the water’s edge; Les Pecheurs gourmet restaurant for formal dinners; and Le Cap nightclub for fusion food and dancing. The beach resort is closed October to April, but Les Pecheurs remains open to serve lunch and dinner.

At the hotel itself, an outdoor lap pool on a stone terrace is surrounded by lounge chairs, tables, and wicker chairs, as well as a bar serving drinks all day. The pool is open from April to November. Inside, a 24-hour fitness center offers cardiovascular machines, free weights, a steam room, and private changing rooms with showers. Beauty treatments are available for an additional surcharge.

High-speed Internet access is available at a desk in the lobby (surcharge for both). A meeting room can accommodate groups of 30. Self-parking and valet parking is available (surcharge for both).

    Recreation
The 10-by-6 meter (33-by-20 ft) lap pool (open April-November) is set on an attractive stone terrace with lounge chairs, tables, wicker chairs, and a poolside bar. The 24-hour fitness center has three cardiovascular machines, free weights, a steam room, and two private changing rooms with showers. Beauty treatments are available (surcharge). In addition, the hotel has its own 6,039-square-meter (65,000-sq-ft) beach resort located one km (0.5 mile) to the south, with three restaurants, including a restaurant-nightclub. The beach resort, open May through September, is open to the public but complimentary for hotel guests, who get there on foot or via complimentary shuttle.

It is said that the Bay of Juan-les-Pins is where water-skiing was invented, and this and other water sports—including parasailing—are available throughout summer. Sandy public beaches are within one block of the hotel, and year-round sports facilities are located in neighboring Antibes, 1.5 km (1 mile) east, including aerobics and tennis. For very young children, a playground with swings is set within the pine park, directly opposite the hotel.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

    Features
What to expect: Since 1931, the personal ambience of the Juana has attracted celebrities, executives, and vacationers—including guests such as singer Ella Fitzgerald. A mahogany-paneled covered driveway leads to the lobby, still with its original elevator in wrought-iron casing. Renovated in 2003, the new coffee-and-cream-colored decor with striking crimson accents is stylishly modern but retains its Art Deco character.

Amenity highlights: The hotel has its own seasonal beach resort one km (0.5 mile) to the south, with both formal and informal restaurants and a restaurant-nightclub. At the hotel, an outdoor pool (seasonal) is set within a stone terrace, with lounge chairs and a poolside bar. Inside, the fitness center has a gym and steam room, and offers beauty treatments (surcharge). High-speed Internet access is available at a desk in the lobby (surcharge).

Insider tip: The French Riviera has long been a celebrity magnet, and some old-Hollywood glamour can still be found. The Chateau Juan-les-Pins, once the home of screen-icon Rudolf Valentino, is southeast of the hotel by one km (0.5 mile), tucked away on Chemin du Crouton. Although not open the public, the building’s eccentric exterior alone is dazzling.

The Lounge - Gourmet restaurant located at the hotel. Heavy caramel-colored drapes frame the entrance to this intimate lounge, with monthly exhibits of framed prints, bijou chairs, and a fresh flower at each black-lacquered table. Cocktails are a specialty; drinks are served all day until late evening at the polished mahogany bar. A Continental breakfast menu is served there each morning.

Les Pêcheurs - Gourmet restaurant located at the beach resort, one km (0.5 mile) from the hotel. Luxuriously decorated on the theme of a high-tech yacht, and featuring a spacious terrace overlooking Mediterranean gardens and the sea, the restaurant serves creative cuisine, focusing on flavors from around the Mediterranean Basin. Open all year round, closed only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In July and August, the restaurant remains open all week, exclusively for dinner. Smart dress required.

Le Cap - Located at the beach resort. Baroque design infused with contemporary Zen spirit. 1,500 square meters (about 16,000 square feet) of terraces and gardens by the edge of the sea. Open every evening in July and August for dinner, with the added attraction of a dance floor on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Smart dress required.

The Beach - Lunch or dinner by the beach, in the shade of maritime pine trees. Panoramic view of the Lérins Islands.

The beach and its restaurant are open from early April to late September. Lunch is served every day from mid-April to mid-September.

Very comfortable and stylish room! Huge beautiful bathroom was especially appreciated after staying in Paris accomodations. Staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Location was great although advertised as having beach access and that was not available to us when we were there. We enjoyed staying in Juan les Pins and there is definitely no need for car rental while you are there. We highly recommend taking the very comfortable, affordable and convienient trains for day trips to Cannes, Nice and Monaco. This was definitely the Best Hotel in the area!
