| I overheard the manager mention that the hotel was overbooked as he was solving a reservation problem with the guest ahead of me. As the clerk was preparing my key, I asked if my room had 2 queen beds. He told me that it had been upgraded and that I should look at it and come back downstairs if I didn't like it (It was 10pm after a 3 1/2 hour drive). I told him that I needed two queen beds because there were four people staying in the room. The manager came over and changed the reservation. I asked the manager if it was a nonsmoking room. He said that it was. When we got off the elevator on the third floor, it reeked of smoke. So did our room. There were no indications that it was a nonsmoking room. After a busy day and long drive, I decided to deal with it in the morning. I turned off the a/c and used the fan to constantly circulate the air. After an uncomfortable night of sleeping in a smelly room, we did notice that the fan did the trick. The only problem now was smelling the smoke in the hallways between our room and the elevator. I would only recommend this hotel if you could guarantee the room preferences, given the dishonesty of the management. The rest of the hotel was fine. The continental breakfast was very convenient and the refrigerator in the room was most helpful. It's too bad for the management, otherwise I would have given the hotel an excellent rating.

| The hotel over all is okay but there is a business right next door to the hotel that makes their own mulch and wood pulp. It smells so bad that I would have went to another hotel if I hadn't paid for it in full with expedia.com. The smell comes right into the lobby all day, every day and that is where they have their continental breakfast set up.

| the only problem i had with the hotel was the continental breakfast. there wasn't enough tables and we had to eat in our room.

| Everything at the hotel was fine and exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was sufficient. The only problem was the smell from the recycling facility next door. It was not noticeable in the hotel but when you walked out the front door, it was bad. I would definitely stay there again

| When selecting a hotel it can be difficult to determine the quality of the establishment. When traveling on business price is also usually a big concern. I was very happy to find this hotel. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the price was right and they have wireless Internet connections that actually worked!

| The hotel is an excellent value in Long Island, NY; the building is brand new. It has all the extras that a business traveller would expect including high speed internet access, nice gym and friendly staff.
