Pan Pacific Vancouver Amenities
Guests enjoy 24-hour room service at this luxury hotel on the waterfront that shares space with the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre. Extensive banquet and meeting facilities—some with harbor views—complement the on-site business center and 24-hour business services.

There are five food-and-beverage outlets ranging from two fine-dining restaurants to a coffee bar. Refreshments are also served around the rooftop pool/spa on the eighth floor. Jazz plays nightly in the lobby lounge overlooking the harbor. Several shops are located on the lobby level as well, including art galleries, an antique shop, and designer clothing stores.

Recreation
An outdoor pool affords sweeping views of the harbor. The hotel is conveniently located at the start of a 12-mile paved seawall path suitable for running, cycling, in-line skating, and strolling. The concierge can arrange bike and other equipment rentals.

The hotel is 1 mile from Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre green space with mountain bike trails, tennis courts, walking paths through the forest, and a pitch-and-putt golf course.

The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

Features
What to expect: Built on a pier that's both a cruise ship terminal and home of the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Center, this Vancouver landmark rises 23 stories above the waterline. Families and couples appreciate the resort-style amenities and sweeping views, while seagoing travelers enjoy waking up and seeing their cruise ship parked outside the window. Business travelers return for the extensive business services.

Amenity highlights: Guests ride escalators past totem poles and an indoor waterfall to the atrium lobby overlooking the harbor. Seamless service ranges from curbside check-in to delivery of luggage to cruise ships. A 55-foot outdoor pool and spa is surrounded by flowerbeds and offers panoramic views. The on-site health club (fee) features a low-impact running track, workout machines, and racquet courts. The "cyber-butler" offers 24-hour help with Internet problems.

Insider tip: The Pan Pacific is located next door to a SeaBus terminal providing catamaran ferry service to foot passengers commuting to the North Shore. For a nominal fee, hotel guests can enjoy a pleasant, 15-minute trip across the city's working harbor to Lonsdale Quay, a dining and shopping complex on the waterfront.

Five Sails - The elegant Five Sails serves dinner in a spectacular setting overlooking both the convention center and the harbor. Menu blends West Coast, Asian, and European cooking styles.

Café Pacifica - Breakfast and lunch are served daily (dinner Thursday through Sunday) in this atrium-lit lobby restaurant overlooking the harbor. Friday is Italian Bistro night, featuring an antipasti bar and light opera selections performed live. Sensational Sunday brunch follows sumptuous Seafood Saturday Night buffet.

Cascades Lounge - Nightly jazz and summer service on the patio at this lobby-level lounge overlooking the harbor. Light meals and cocktails served daily.

Aromaz - Freshly brewed coffee, pastries, soups, salads, and deli sandwiches for guests on the go.

We had a wonderful room at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Vancouver. The room was spacious with down filled comforters and high thread count linens on the beds. The staff was helpful and polite and always addressed you by name. Although our room was a "city view" room it had a partial view of the harbor. Our room wasn't ready when we tried to check in early but the staff called my cell phone to let me know when it was ready. There was a wonderful patio eating area overlooking the harbor and cruise ships. All in all a beautiful hotel. I would stay again in a heart beat.

For a quick get away in style, I would recommend this hotel. Although next to the harbour, all hotel staff go out of their way to ensure you feel as though you are the only guest at the hotel. The rooms were clean, the room service is punctual, the bell service is efficient. Perhaps, an ice machine on each floor would be helpful, other than that, no problems.

Ask for a room overlooking the Harbor and you can watch the float planes take off and land for hours. Beautiful views of the harbor activities and still close enough to downtown Vancouver that it is all within walking distance.

We chose the Pan Pacific because it is on the waterfront, and the views are great. Even our city view rooms had a reasonable water view too. At the reduced Expedia rate the hotel was good value for money for our 4 day stay. Children are not allowed in the bar, but I think that is normal for Canada, and we got round that by relaxing elsewhere in the foyer. Definitely worth considering if you want to treat yourselves.

This was simply the best hotel experience I have had in a very long time. I had a harbor view, which was very nice, although all the construction along the shore is not so pretty. But these things can't be helped when you're visiting a city! My room was perfect, very comfortable, and this may sound strange, but the bathroom is beautiful. All marble, very clean; it felt like it was built yesterday! Everyone from the staff at the front desk, the concierge, waiters in the Cafe Pacifica, to the waiters by the pool and room service is very friendly, courteous, and warm. My only complaint is that sometimes it takes a few minutes to get room service on line; twice the automated system put me on hold for more than five minutes. Once I got a human being on the phone, it was fine. The concierge services there are excellent. Make good use of them, and your trip will be infinitely more enjoyable.

When we arrived at the hotel - they did not put us in a room with the water view as we had requested so we were a little disappointed however the hotel moved our luggage to the right room. The hotel was near the restaurants, and had a great outside dining/bar area - shopping nearby was great too. The concierge - great help - made all our reservations.

The Pan Pacific was comfortable enough. We were offered a more spacious room if were were willing to wait. One of the double beds had been overused and should have been replaced. Hotel is within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Pool and hot tub not big enough to accommodate guests comfortably.

Before a Celebrity Infinity cruise, we booked a day before and after at the Pan Pacific. We paid about the same as just airfare (Expedia). It was to the only way to FLOAT! The hotel manages your luggage from your room to ship and meets you just outside the terminal and transfers to room. First class Hotel with outstanding views of harbor.
