| The room was very reasonably priced. The room is very spacious. The view of Barcelona (day and night)from your room window is great. It's also conveniently located near the train (international connections included) and METRO stations with quick access to the airport.

| Reserved two rooms. Room with the view of museum was a better value. Second room on opposite side of hotel was ok. I think the room was designed to accommodate handicap patrons, as shower and tub were open with no doors. Hotel staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Location of hotel was also a bonus. Within short walking distance, we were able to catch taxi, train, and bus for tours.

| Overall, this hotel is good, close to metro stations, a bit far away from the heat of downtown, but ok. The spa is fabulous, very relaxing, clean, and well maintained -- don't miss the spa if you stay there! The restaurant "Visual" is amazing: the view itself is worth the trip and the food is definitely a notch above even the good restaurants in Barcelona. Innovative and delicious cuisine, large selection of dishes and wines, well trained and very professional wait staff, this is really a restaurant not to miss when in Barcelona, even if you are not staying at the Torre Catalunya. Some of the aspects of the hotel coud be better: we had a "double bed" meaning two beds very close together, not very romantic; also no one advised that the lights would not turn on unless the key card is insert in a certain slot, some of the finishes in the room and hotel are slowly deteriorating and not maintained, this is too bad for such a nice hotel. One disappointment for this 4 star hotel: no concierge! All the assistance is provided by the front desk people but no one is a true concierge. Would stay there again.

| This hotel was awesome! I loved it. It was clean and comfortable. It had a nice bar in the lobby area that was great to hang out until the Spanish prepare to go out for dinner. They also had internet in the rooms. A very good thing when you are overseas for a while and do not want to handle personal matters in internet cafes. The staff were extremely friendly as well and very helpful. Proximity was good to most things and the tourist bus picks from from almost outside the door and the train station is right there as well. Taxis are reasonable as well. I would definitely stay there again!

| Clean. Staff could be friendlier. I did not consider it to be away from anything. You can catch the tourist bus very close to the hotel. Very close to the art museum. There is an actual health club/gym at the hotel with plenty of equipment (free weights, cardio, pool, etc.) I would stay here again. Take the tourist bus....great way to see the city. See traveler tip for a great restaurant.

| This is a beautiful hotel which I endorse with modest enthusiasm. The good points are that it is close to the railroad station, the rooms are beautiful, and the service adequate. Bad points are that the staff is not truly bi-lingual, the beds are like sleeping on concrete, the restaurant is horrid, and there is a lot of noise from the busy street.

| We stayed at this hotel for one night after our cruise. This was the second hotel we stayed at. I am not going to compare the two hotels because I really enjoyed my stay at both hotels, they just had different things to offer. Torre Catalunya was across from Sants station, so if you are planning on taking day trips to Sitges, Girona, or any other town leaving Sants station, this is the perfect place. There is also a metro station across the street and the Bus Turistic goes by there. There are a few tourist spots within walking distance and if you walk north going out the front door from the hotel there is a mall and stores that are not as over priced as Las Ramblas and other tourist areas. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. We were on the 12th floor and had really nice views of the city. We even got to check in early which was really great. The staff were helpful and pleasant. My husband and I took advantage of the Spa. We each got a great massage. We then relaxed in the sauna and thermal pool. Truly a pleasure. There was a small gym, but we skipped out on the work out. We did not go to the restaurant because by time we decided we wanted to go we were told that all tables had been reserved. We went to La Fonda in Barceloneta. I highly recommend it. It's a 10 euro cab ride or you can take the metro to the port. It wa sthe only trestaurant we went to twice.
