| The Onyx Hotel is a very pretty hotel with a very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are comfy enough and very stylish. I only had two problems with this hotel. One, my room felt dusty. Spent four days sneezing and I dont usually suffer from allergies. Second, i ordered a terrible burger from room service. Big mistake. Other than that, a great place.

| Very nice hotel. Not a large hotel . Very good service. The only thing it doesn't have is a large restuarant. Close to the transit service.

| Had never heard of this hotel or this chain, and was a little curious about their choice of location, but every aspect turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Very comfortable room, very clean, very modern. Bathroom was also modern (though a bit dark, but not overly so). Area is also very good, with access to the North End (Boston's Little Italy) and Faneuil Hall, etc. I would certainly stay there again. One minor complaint is that the gym is tiny, but the hotel does offer yoga equipment, so if you are yoga-minded, then the gym is irrelevant.

| Great hotel in the heart of many tourist activities. Friendly staff and clean environment. Close to numerous historical sites, many nightclubs and old fashioned pubs. Shopping areas within easy walking distance.

| Hype would be an operative word here though... that is far from sufficient in making one return. Small rooms. Overpriced. No lasting impression.

| I stayed at this hotel to participate in the 2006 Boston Marathon. The hotel was very clean, the service was very good but the room was small for my taste even though the 360 pic view online made it seem larger. The hotel was very nicely situated close to many downtown attractions.

| Rather small and compact but the room itself was roomy and the furnishings comfortable. Despite being a new hotel, it looked worn.
