| I went to the Alexandra for a wk's holiday in late May. This was my second trip to the Turks and Caicos, and my first stay at the Alexandra. The one bdrm deluxe room was very well appointed and had wonderful views of the pool area and ocean. There is ongoing construction at the resort, so beware during the off-season. Luckily the only inconvience for me was some disrupted landscaping as no active construction was occuring while I was there. The beach is amazing with plentiful beach parasols and chaises. The Orchid Restaurant on the property was good, not excellent. Overall, no complaints...but I'd definitely book the oceanside room next time.

| This is an all suite hotel that is quite new and very clean. The hotel is located on a very beautiful beach and the ocean can be seen from most rooms. The rooms are very open an airy feeling. The full kitchen has top quality appiances and qranite counter tops. The pool area is quite large and also very well kept. The staff was very friendly, curtious and helpful.

| the hotel handled our arrival poorly. After being whisked into a golf cart to be taken to our room, we were taken to an already occupied room. Twice. Seems that no one could agree on what building we were in, not to mention the fact that we were sent without room keys. Found out on our last day that the hotel has a shuttle on Mondays to the IGA grocery. The "gecko" bus is not reliable which caused us to miss more than one dinner reservation. Condo was immaculate!

| Beaches: like they were lifted off a magazine cover...perfectly clean white sand, crystal clear calm warm turquoise waters Staff: very friendly and accomodating Room: studios are spacious and new, all have beautiful ocean view+deck w/ table and chairs, bring some DVDs, they have players in the rooms Gave it a 3 on the condition/maintenance, b/c we lost power three times and water once. Apparently there was a fire at the power plant that caused problems for all of grace bay. Oh, and the air conditioner wasn't working when we arrived, was fixed the morning after I notified the front desk about it... Went two weeks before xmas, basically had the whole resort to ourselves!
