The front desk staff was extremely helpful and even let us tour one of the suites at the hotel, in case we return in the future. Also, in the hotel lobby, they provided a number of brochures for the surrounding area that were very helpful when planning our outings. The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast, with plenty of variety including cereals, toast, waffles, eggs, biscuits, fruit, juices, coffees and teas. Breakfast was delicious! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had 3 people staying in our room, and we never felt crowded or like we were stepping over each others' toes. The room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable!! The only (very minor) complaint was that the tempterature of the shower had a tendency to fluctuate, but it was not even worth mentioning to the hotel staff. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we're looking forward to staying there again on our next trip to the area!

We can't wait to go back! The hotel was very clean and nice. The rooms were a good size and the staff was realy friendly! the pool is centrally located and very clean as well. The continental breakfast was not half bad. We went with young children and we were all comfortable. The only thing was if you are not back at the hotel by 10pm it gets harder to find parking(if the hotel is full at the time) I also left some items behind, after I called they were quick to respond and my belongings were shipped back to me right away. Overall, we had a great stay and would go back there again.

We stayed during the week on a Wed and Thur night. It was a decent weekday price for the summer. When we go there, the staff was polite enough and quick enough with getting us checked in. The room was very clean and the pool is in the center of the property so it makes it easy to get to for everyone. The only complaint I would truly have would be that the walls seem to be paperthin. This was during the week and we could hear the TVs in at least two other rooms on the first evening. I don't know how bad it is on the weekend though. Other than that, it's quite good considering that you aren't too far from all the fun spots on the coast.

We did not want to pay the high price for a beach front hotel so this was a nice alternative. If you want to explore the OC, this is in a good location. Clean and has a good breakfast.

Decent place, good location. Stayed 3 days on business trip, would stay again on business. Not a destination hotel and not billed that way either. 3 story walk up , no elevator. Could be an issue for some.

This hotel gets an "okay". For the price and location it is worth it. Breakfast is included - continental with the occasional sausage sandwich. Rooms need some love, but they are decent. Overall rooms are clean and the hotel is decent enough for the price.

We stayed at the hotel for five nights, and enjoyed our stay. Basically, it was just a place to sleep after busy days at the beach, SD Zoo, etc., so we didn't need more than a comfortable bed and room. Only downsides were, ill-fitting bed pads, small bath towels, and the suite needed AC in both rooms, as there was no AC in the King Bed room. For our purpose, all was well, and we would probably stay there again due to the proximity to the beach and the value.
