| We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The staff could not be any friendlier. There was only one problem, upon checking in the air conditioning in the room was not working. We had to call several times and icluded for me to go to the lobby and request for someone to come and check it. They did make up for it though. That night we had turn down service and candles all over our room.

| The hotel was very comfortable, Overall clean and very large pool only 3 1/2 feet deep, nice to swim and relax. The service personal were friendly and pleasent but not many spoke english. What I did not like was the room cleaning. I had to call room service 4 out of 5 days after returning to room past 3 pm and not cleaned.

| I read the reviews before I went on this trip and was skeptical. As with all, there were positive and negative reviews. My personal experience was wonderful. The resort was beautiful and was well kept. The service could not be beat anywhere. The food was very good. I was worried because I am a finicky eater. There were no problems in this regard. I found that so many of the staff spoke enough english that language was never a barrier. I can not say enough good about this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

| The place is gorgeous. The staff is super friendly. The French restaurant had the best food. The spa services were some of the best that I ever had and very reasonably priced. Be prepared to stay on the resort or travel for an hour to go on an excursion.

| We stayed the last week in April. Good: The grounds are very nice and well kept. The pool areas are beautiful and the beach as well. The staff was friendly. The food was typical of an all inclusive but was good overall (we are new yorkers so very picky). They can't do sushi though! The mexican and Domincan food was good. We did not like our first room as it was too close to the evening entertainment and smelled a bit damp (1st floor). The hotel changed us after two nights further away. The 2nd room was great. Not so good: we personally did not like the loud club music they played mid-day by the pool, but you could go down further and not hear it. Yoga was not really yoga but good stretching. For a really nice relaxing vacation where you just do nothing, but can do stuff if you want, this is a solid resort.

| Our family went to Secrets for a wedding and everything was excellent. We did not, however, enjoy the food at the italian buffet. All the other restaurants were great. The help was pleasant and could not do enough for you. It is our first time at an adult resort and enjoyed it very much. The entertainment was great and funny. The wedding reception was unbelieveable and very beautiful. The setting was by a pool with a waterfall and had torches lit with round tables and candles. Palmieri flowers on the lounge beds, it was gorgegeous. It was the best wedding ever.

| I went there on my honeymoon and here are the wonderful facts: PRO's * Great Service - everyone is so hard working from the hotel property clean up crew to the bartenders to the maids to the waiters and desk help. Very friendly and helpful. * Beautiful beach and pools with forests of palm trees * Nice rooms with jacuzzi tubs even the garden views are wonderful. The vegatation is quite lush! * Free horsebackriding and bogie boarding and kayaking * All inclusive drinks and food * Night-time entertainment and a schedule full of activities to partcipate in. You can be as relaxed or as busy as you would like. *Shops (barter for cigars) and there is a shop within one of the shops that will give you free single cigars in hope you will buy a box. Go there for the best deal! CON's * Hour drive from the airport but worth every bit of it. I suggest a private transfer through Amstar.d * Drinks have little to no liquor. I don't really consider this a con, but some people do. Just get wine or beer if you want alcohol. * The hotel desk/concierge might be too helpful. They called our room almost everytime we entered at night, but appreciated their careful attentiveness to our needs. I really don't consider this a negative either. I was completely satisfied with this trip and didn't want to leave! I'm sure we will return on an anniversary, soon!
