This hotel was located in a lovely quiet section of Myrtle Beach, which isn't easy to find these days. Our room was clean and neat, but it reeked of smoke. We were supposedly in a non-smoking room, but it was disgusting. Even the "clean" towels reeked of smoke. Make sure to specify your request and ask for another room if you find yourself in a smoky nightmare!

the hotel was pretty outdated, but we stayed here for the low prices. it was pretty clean and quiet, although our air conditioner went out on the second night. they told us to wait till the morning to have it fixed even though it was 85 degrees in there. after three phone calls to the front desk, they finally fixed it at 1:00 am. other than that it's a fine hotel for the price. the front desk people aren't very helpful with directions or suggestions, though. breakfast in the hotel was great and pretty cheap.
