| My husband and I spent one night at the Estancia in celebration of my husband's birthday. The hotel is very quaint and serene. We enjoyed the pool (although there were a lot of kids). Our room was small yet very nice. The room faced a nice, well landscaped patio. The valet service was excellent, they went out of their way to get us to downtown La Jolla (complimentary shuttle) and offered water on our departure. The wine bar was very nice. The proximity to downtown La Jolla is ideal (just a short cab/shuttle ride away).

| Estancia La Jolla is a beautiful property. I went with my husband and two small children. The crib the hotel provided was perfect -- my son slept "like a baby." I wish we could have taken advantage of the pool, but our visit was a short one. The hotel is located in beautiful La Jolla, not far from the San Diego Zoo, Legoland, or the beach. We did not take advantage of the spa, but we had a wonderful breakfast buffet in one of the hotel's restaurants. The service was very good, and our children (10 months, 4 years) were not looked upon by anyone as an annoyance (that was my biggest worry). The hotel even has a small area at check-in for the kids, where my daughter picked out a little toy horse that stuck with her throughout the trip.

| ...and relax. The Estancia Hotel/Spa was elegant and the scenery was dreamy. Our standard room was just that, standard, but the very neat and claen. The spa was top notch and inviting, with excellent service. I loved the salt water pool and hot tub, much better than chlorine, all pools and hot tubs should be so nice. We will be back!

| The hotel is really good. The rooms are clean and quite. A nice place where to stay in SD. We just found the price of the parking lot (17USD per day) pretty expensive and don't forget that you will be charge 9$/day for services such as newspaper, internet , coffe etc.

| I had a baby and a little brother in law who is 11yrs old. At the last minute, he decided to tag with us.. so when we made a reservation, we did not count him. Very kindley they provide an extra bed and baby crip without charging extra and took like only 20 minutes to bring them to the room. The restaurant waiter even helped me to life the stroller although we were just passing by. I had a headache in the morning when I was having a breakfast. The waiter even brough me a tylenol from the giftshop!! when I offered him a tip he refused..wow..never had a good service like that. Defintely a place to stay when you go to San Diego.

| We had a great stay at the Estancia La Jolla at the end of July. My wife, two kids, sister-in-law and mother-in-law used the hotel as our base of operations for a week. We requested adjoining rooms via Expedia, and got them no problem. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the grounds were beautiful. Our rooms were clean, and quiet. Although the hotel was heavily occupied, we couldn't hear anyone else in other rooms or in the hallway. I would stay here again next time we head down to La Jolla / San Diego.

| Was very dissappointed with the service at this hotel. They said they had several activities available but when we went to participate they were non existent. Also, the service at the restaurant was horrible. I expected more from this resort.
