| If all you are looking for is a reasonably priced hotel close to downtown Houston, (20 minutes away) this is the place. Hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Hotel is undergoing renovations at the moment but it was not a problem for us. (Supposed to be finished by early summer). The room was quiet with no sound from the Interstate, a real plus with hotels close to major highways. Area surrounding hotel is not the best but if all you need is a good night's rest, this hotel offers just that.
