| This was the best hotel in which we have ever stayed. The staff was very friendly & helpful. They went out of their way to help. The only negative thing is the street side rooms do hear the noise from the street.

| Hotel was nice and comfortable. Next to many shops and close to the beach. I was able to take a walk on the beach each morning before the start of my day.

| The rooms are great. I fully expected to get a regular room with a king sized bed and went there to find I had a suite. The place is brand new, very clean and very comfortable. The only drawback is that there is only valet parking for $17 a night, but you can get over that for how great the hotel is.

| Great location! We truly enjoyed our stay at the Marriott. What we loved the best was that everything was within walking distance (i.e., Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, and The Aquarium). We would recommend this hotel to anyone that is planning on visiting. Tuesday afternoons there is a Farmer's market just one mini block away from the hotel. Great service.

| We went on a trip over a weekend to Monterey and decided to go for Marriott since we liked the location and thought the brand would not let us down. Turns out that Monterey is quite a busy small town during Saturday nights, and the hotel has little or no sound insulation. We were on the 6th floor, and it was like we were sleeping on the breakdown lane of a highway, with the music from cars in the neighborhood keeping us up well into the night. For the price range, this hotel is definitely not worth it. There are lots of smaller cheaper inns in Monterey and Carmel that are probably a better choice.

| Clean, nice property. Great for families. Loved the on-site spa. Friendly staff. Health club a little on the small side. Very close to main attractions. Had a slight "problem" which the hotel handled with the utmost class and fairness. Would stay again for that reason alone.
