    Staff speaks English very well. Gave us great information on how to get around Pisa. It would be a pretty long hike to Campo dei Miracoli (Tower, Duomo etc..) from here- we took the busses. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was also quite good. Rooms are spacious and all systems seem to work well. We were a bit miffed to discover we had to reserve their shuttle to be picked up at the station or airport on Saturday and that it was not available on Sunday at all. They had just come and picked us up at the airport on our way into Italy on a Friday. Also found the pay TV situation confusing- there is no listing that shows when the movies start and it is NOT a view on command deal. So we picked a movie only to see the last 20 minutes- which didi not repeta. We didn't have to pay for it but our 10 yr old was quite frustrated.

    The hotel was far below 4-star in quality. We had one plastic glass provided in the bathroom, minimal towels, a worn blanket for the bed. Because of a problem with plumbing, we were placed in a different hotel for the first night of our stay. It was nicer than the HRM and we later found out it cost less. Definitely would not recommend this hotel at their quoted prices.

    The front desk was slow to respond and was a little bit distracted when it came to customer service. The hotel was far from the city, had to take a bus and the shuttle was no longer in service.

    The receptionists at the hotel were extremely professional and provided us with information about nearby restaurants, shops and bus information. You can purchase bus tickets in the lobby and they even called restaurants to see if they were open. I would definitely stay here again!

    We arrived 10 minutes to noon (check in time), and there were no rooms ready, we asked about getting a coffee while we waited, nothing open, there suggestion was to walk into town, they had no maps, we wandered for over an hour before finding the tower. Requested a shuttle to the airport for a 7am flight. Shuttle was not available until 8am. Advertised 5 minutes from airport is in reality almost 15 minute ride. Dinner at hotel was good, but overpriced. They do speak good english and hotel is well maintained.

    The rooms are very big unlike most other European hotels I've been in. They have a shuttle bus that can take you from the airport if you ask, otherwise it's about a 10 Euro taxi ride. You can take a taxi ride from the hotel to the leaning tower for approx. 15 Euro (approx. $20). Most all of the staff is fluent in English and very nice. I definitely recommend it!

    The registration desk moved us to another 4-star hotel nearby because of some plumbing issues. That move turned out well because we really liked the second hotel. It was new and modern and just as well located. This hotel is out of the main business and tourist district and was a good value.

    For the price, this place is not worth it, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly, but the location is not great, so we were stuck eating in the restuarant which was way over priced. We had a room over the kitchen and when we opened the window, we heard all the pots and pans.
