| Overall the hotel was nice, but I was not pleased with the room itself. The beds did not have fitted sheets and were quite uncomfortable. The view is beautiful from every part of the hotel, but the road to the hotel is very grueling. It is in a very beautiful place if you are looking for a great view of the city and moutains.

| I travel to Gatlinburg at least once a month. I always stayed on the strip. Decided to try out the Park Vista. I will stay there from now on. Not only is view great and the hotel is gorgeous, you can get anywhere on the strip by simply riding the trolley.

| The room was clean with great views. The indoor pools were clean and kept my teenager happy. The resturant was okay. The food was not the best nor was it the worst. The staff was friendly and always attentive.

| The best thing about this hotel was the outer styling. It is possible to see the hotel from the street way down the mountain. The breakfast in the morning was good and they had a trolly stop outside the hotel for your frequent ventures into town.

| I make a trip to Gatlinburg two or three times a year, and I always stay at the Park Vista Hotel. I am well pleased with the quality and location of the place and the service. The hotel and rooms are reasonably clean and nice, and there is a beautiful view, as if you're up on top of the mountain. The restaurant is awesome, and the room service is great and prompt. I think I love the most about this hotel is that you can have your breakfast delivered right to your room at the time you choose. That makes me feel as though I'm being pampered, living like the rich! The hotel is atop a very steep hill, but I don't mind the drive up. The view is gorgeous once your get the top!

| My wife, two young daughters(6 and 4) and I just returned from a weeklong vacation in Gatlinburg. After reading some of the reviews on this hotel, we were a little apprehensive about staying here. However, we were very pleased upon arrival. The hotel is in fact dated, but not outdated. It offers a unique location away from all the traffic/noise of downtown, but close enough to be just a minute or two drive from the popular downtown area and less than a mile from the entrance to the Smokies. We found the hotel to be quite adequate for our needs, which basically was to shower, sleep, swim with the kids, etc. Most of our daylight time was spent sightseeing, exploring, downtown, Dollywood, Splash Country, nighttime shows in Pigeon Forge(5 miles away), Ober Gatlinburg, Cherokee, N.C. etc.We were very pleased with the accomodations, the location, and the hotel service. Our few complaints were relatively minor, but include: beds did not have "fitted" sheets on mattress causing some sleep issues, hotel is on steep hill with no way to walk to downtown although there is a locally run tram which runs every 30 minutes at the hotel's front door, restaurant service was less than stellar although food was good and reasonably priced, there isn't much of a concierge service so it will be up to you to make reservations and determinations for your activities. Other than these concerns, we were very satisfied with this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others, particularly families.

| My family and I have spent several weeks in hotels in the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg area while shopping real estate in the area. Of all the hotels we stayed at this is one we will definitely come back to. We had a city view on the 6th floor and the view alone was worth it. Towering over the rest of the town made you feel as if you were the only ones in the mountains. It is away from the hustle/bustle of the downtown area so need to utilize the trolley service, the trolley's run every 15 minutes so this is not a problem. Our teenagers really enjoyed the pool and the grounds around the hotel. The lobby is beautiful. The only problem we had was the elevators. There are three main elevators and 2 service, on the day of checkout several of us (including other guests) had to use the stairs as the elevators were packed and running so slow. I wouldn't let this deter any one from visiting this hotel and we will definitely be going back on our next stay.

| Hotel was very pretty, service was great, food was great. My grandkids especially liked the indoor pool and spa. Would have been nice to get a discount since I was paying for the trip for my son and his wife and two kids. Maybe partner with Dollywood and Splash Country for discounted tickets. We stayed Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Would and have recommended this hotel to others.

| Awesome place to stay. You get your choice of a town view or mountain view; we picked the mountain view and it was spectacular. Every room with a view and a personal, private balcony. There are rooms right over the "sevice" area (dumpsters, delivery, etc) that might be kind of noisy... but our room was great. There are is a two-level indoor pool which was seriously nice and the water temp was like jumping into a big bathtub. Excellent food at the hotel restraunt; we were so pleased with the food, we ate a majority of our meals right at the hotel. Plus, this hotel is a little way off the main strip so you don't have the constant foot and vehicle traffic. I would stay here again with no second thoughts. In all fairness, we had two minor issues - one of which was that the "maid" service was a little slow one day. The other issue was about as petty.

| Room was clean and quiet. They gave us a room with an awesome view. We attended a wedding for my neice, out back in the lawn on Saturday. We didn't try out the restuarant. We had a few drinks at the bar. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was very freindly. I would recommend this hotel. You can't walk to town. It sits way up above town. No sidewalk and a very steep road. Not an issue with us though. Jeff & Kathy from Cincinnati
