| We found the Amalfi to be located within walking distance from several of our destinations. The friendly staff were so helpful. The temperature of the room never got really cool enough for us, but we never complained either and it was OK. We would recommend this hotel again for anyone coming to Chicago.

| The hotel is truly in the middle of most tourist areas and easily accessible to the local "el" systems (within 3 city blocks either side of the hotel)to access other areas in Chicago like Wrigley Field. Taxis are bountiful too at the hotel's doorstep and the free trolley shuttle stop to the Navy Pier is also near the hotel. Most sites like the Magnificent Mile and the Loop are within walking distance. The overall service is good and the breakfast layout is very large but nothing very healthy is offered (danishes, bagels, muffins, etc). The staff is very courteous and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel easily for both leisure and business purposes.

| The Amalfi is conveniently located and in a quiet area. The website makes it seem like a contemporary, super-stylish, luxury hotel. It isn't, really, just moderately first-class. The room was small. The bathroom was hugh. The corridors were silent at night. The free continental breakfast was first rate, but the free happy hour snacks were the same four days straight. Still, with the Expedia discount, it was a good bargain and worth a return stay.

| There were 4 of us in the room and washcloths were not replaced when taken, nor were the wine glasses. That is my only complaint. The staff were very helpful and congenial.

| Very stylish hotel in a great location, with a nice, if not always friendly staff. The only problem--and this applies to all Chicago downtown hotels, I think--is that the price doesn't really equate to the size and quality of the room. If you are going to overpay--and you are--then this is as good a way to do so as any other.

| My husband and I went with some friends for a weekend getaway, and I was very pleased with our choice of the Amalfi Hotel. The rooms were spacious with a warm color palate, and we were on the 6th floor so our city view was acceptable. The location was not bad at all, we walked everywhere except when we didn't want to walk to the Oriental Theatre in heels, even though it was 4 blocks away! The cocktail hour was great, the amalfitini's were so good! Everyone in the hotel was extremely nice and helpful, our expierence designer helped us many times with suggestions on where to eat and how to get to places. My husband even liked the Aveda products in the bathroom. Relaxing environment, I would definetly stay there again.

| This hotel doesn't have a restaurant, bar or swimming pool but couldn't have a more convenient location for all you need. It's easy to get around from the site. They do serve a continental breakfast and a free evening cocktail. The staff are excellent.
