| It was extremely hot and we were tired. The hotel staff was exceptionally pleasant and immediately took care of a couple of special requests. Walking distance to eating. Room exceptionally clean.

| Overall, the experience was wonderul. We did have a plugged toilet upon our arrival but the maintenance man was there in 10 minutes and fixed the problem. We then discovered that the air conditioner was leaking onto the carpet. We were offered a different room but chose to stay in that room. The staff provided extra towels to mop up the water in the carpet. We would gladly stay there again!!!

| My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer. The staff was super. When we first entered our room, we thought we had the wrong room. It was huge; much like being at home. It was a King study, but felt like a suite. The bathroom was large and very clean. The living area was large as well as the sleeping area. It just had a homey feel to it. The breakfast was very good, with lot's of choices. We are hoping to plan a future vacation around this hotel. We stayed in a five star hotel in Chicago the four previous nights for a convention and were very dissatisfied. This is an excellent choice and I highly recommend it.

| We've stayed at this hotel many times - with AAU basketball teams, as a family, as well as small groups of friends traveling to different venues. The staff is always friendly, the hotel is always clean. The only less than positive is that the breakfast area is often very crowded and it can be difficult to find a seat if you eat at a later time. The selection of food for a complimentary buffet is good however, and replenished quickly. We stay in MANY hotels throughout a year - this one is ALWAYS good.

| We were very impressed by the quality of the hotel and the rooms. It is very close to shopping and restaurants. The pool is very nice. We will definitely stay there again.

| The staff at this hotel were second to none! They were polite, thoughtful and helpful. The breakfast crew kept all items fresh and stocked. We stayed at another of this chain the following night and our experience was not even close to as good.

| We have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Clive twice during the past couple of months. We have found them roomy, comfortable, and very reasonablly priced. The breakfast is excellent. The suites cost what you normally pay for a regular room in most other hotels/motels. Whenever we come to Des Moines, our first choice is always here. It is also close to lots of shopping areas and great restaurants. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Great hot cookies greet you when you check in and popcorn is available during the evening hours. A wonderful place for us to stay for those frequent trips to Des Moines for work and pleasure.
