Princess Fairmont unquestionably one of the best resort hotels in the area. If you want an American-style ocean resort your can't go wrong. However if you want access to the city then you need a car or taxi. An excellent price (30% less than the conference rate that I was attending) have me a large double room with ocean view and patio. Restaurants are a little pricey, but it was still possible to eat in the hotel for less than $50 a day providing you avoid the buffet. The coffee shop does excellent sandwiches for 90 pesos.

Just returned. Feb 10, 2007 We booked this resort for our 25th. The resort is very beautiful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. As mentioned before, the drinks and food are overpriced. Everyday at the pool there is a 2for1 drink special for an hour, but it seems to take the 30mins. to brink back your drink. The first couple days the resort was very busy with the Mexican holiay celebrations. The last five days were made up of listening to the continuous jack hammering and large equipment from construction next to the resort. Even with our noise cancelling headphones on at the pool area, we could not escape the constant sound and vibration. When we complained we were told that it was not their fault, since it was not them building anything. The manager told us that they asked the construction company to try to keep the noise down but they could not, I know it is not the fault of the resort, but it was not very relaxing to hear that all day long. We asked to be compensated and were told the only thing they could do was to give us an upgrade on our next stay there! We worked very hard to pay for this vacation and felt they could have done more for us.

Amazing, friendly and helpful staff and great resort. I was travelling by myself so was concerned about safety, they made me feel so welcome, the manager Roberto organised a trip to see the cliffdivers for me which was excellent and I would highly recommend it. Room was clean and comfortable with a stunning view of the sea from the balcony, great beach and free kayaking each morning at 10.00am was excellent. Lovely pools and restaurants - I had a very relaxing stay. The staff were the friendliest I have seen at a resort, went out of their way to help and offer any advice. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!

We usually stay at the Fairmont Princess and we tried the Pierre Marques during a Mexican Holiday. Both hotels are great, but the Pierre Marques has a much better service. Even though it was fully booked, we didn't have to make lines or wait for the waiters at the pools/beach to check on us. We left Acapulco at night and the front desk staff extended our check out time. And we didn't miss the Willow Stream Spa at the Princess because since both hotels are Fairmont resorts, there is a shuttle that comes and goes to the Pierre Marques and Princess, and guests of both hotels can use the facilities of both. The rooms are a little old, but other than that, the hotel is perfect.

Absolutely beautiful resort, but if you decide to stay here, I would recommend to upgrade to another room besides the "Shared Pool Casita" - the lowest proced room. The reason why primarily is because there is no refridgerator, bath tub, and the floors are made of stone. I would have preferred tile at least. As far as the stone floors I don't know if this the case in a more expensive room. But it costs way too much money to buy your food on the resort ($13USD for a deli sandwich, $15 for room service burger and fries), it adds up if you stay long. A refridgerator would have helped seeing as how most travelers staying at Las Brisas stock up on normal priced food and drink at the Wal-Mart downtown. Our Casita was small, balcony was nice and big though. Service was great, views were unforgettable and drinks were expensive ($14USD for a martini, $8.50 pina colada) The location of the resort is away from downtown where everything is. So you usually pay around $10 or 100 pesos for a taxi to Wal-Mart, or the Flea Market, normaly priced restaurants, bars etc. Las Brisas is not in walking distance to anything really, nor would I recommend walking on that busy, dangerous road. The Las Brisas "La Concha Club" is gorgeous and a wonderful perk of being a guest there. Free shuttle takes you there every 20 min until 5pm. If I were to go back, I would spend some extra money on a room with a fridge to save some money on food and drink. Wonderful resort, but expect to pay.

The past 11 days are unforgettable. We have vacationed at this resort at least 12 times over the past 15 years. The service is outstanding. This trip involved a small wedding for our daughter. The hotel went above and beyond to make this event the most important day in the lives of our daughter and her husband. Can not think of going anywhere else where such personal caring could be found.
