Having deciding on Morocco as a location. After reading restuarant reviews, and with personal experience of a couple of stop offs on route to Marrakesh, I knew Agadir was not going to be a gourmets mecca so I decided to take the plunge and do AI. Beach Albatross was not disappointing. The food was fresh and varied. Fish, meat and chicken were available at lunch and dinner along with veg and salads. The wine was perfectly drinkable and inline with that available elsewere in the resort. There were also "themed nights" including an excelent Moroccan night were the tagines and couscous were delicious. The public areas were very clean and well attended. The pool area was very well kept with the drinks being served and emply cups/glasses collected with great efficiency. The staff were excellent and the "trainess" appeared to be recieving good training. The hotel staff in general were very gentle, polite and friendly. The only downs were that the bathrooms need updating, the aircon didn't work (not much of a problem as the nights were cold, but will be in summer) and the "Tagine restuarant" which was awful!! There was entertainment each evening but cannot comment on it as we didn't stay to watch it.
