This hotel was given a great description, however, the hotel does not live up to those words. It appears clean, but if you walk up the steps you realize it's not all clean. Our beach view was overshadowed by the air conditioning unit in the window. There was no balcony that you could sit on. There is only one pool that has a cover that has to be manually opened to the outside where the pigeons nest. (You can imagine what happens to the chairs!) There is no access from the hotel to the beach except a walkway that goes up over a four lane road that takes you ten minutes to cross. That beach is about four feet wide when the tide is out. It is brown sand and appears dirty. They did say you could wait on the hotel bus that runs every 20 minutes to be carried to a wider private beach but I gave up after 25 minutes of trying to wait for the bus. The 2 bars are actually just one with a door in between them. It shows the same music CD over and over again. There are very few English speakers and they don't understand what you ask them without it being a lengthy discussion. The mall is large, but I did not feel that it offered a good selection of merchandise. I do not feel this hotel is worth the money you pay if you want a resort. If I was only there for business and just needed a place to put my head, it would have been fine.
