I and my friends stayed in Townhomes at Bretton Woods for celebrating New Year. The resort located in scenic area, surrounded mountains. Fresh air, beautiful landscape, peaceful, quiet area; we truly enjoyed every minute spent in the resort. In Bretton Woods they have qualified service (technician came to change a gas ballon for grill in just 7 minutes!) But sadly we faced some inconveniences: 1. First of all, it was not easy at all to find the house, even using the map they gave us. 2. No dumpsters near the house. 3. Nobody warned us about resort fees

My husband and I have vacationed in the White Mountains region of New Hampshire for years, but have never been able to stay at this resort. I found a great deal after the foliage season, and decided to take it. It was well worth it. The view when you drive up is breathtaking. You feel like you are stepping back in time. We were greeted by the valet and bellhops immediately. Walking into the hotel takes your breath away. Check-in was easy, and they were so helpful and friendly. The rooms have high ceilings, and are warmly decorated. The view we had was wonderful; Mount Washington right in full view. At home we had had no power for 4 days, and were not dressed appropriately for the gorgeous Dining Room for dinner. One of the employees suggested Stickney's, since it had no dress code. We were greeted warmly, and were almost alone in the restaurant. The food was delicious, not cheap, but delicious. We had a great time just wandering around the building and looking at the photos and views. You definitely need to stay for more than one night to fully experience the resort. We didn't get to go to the pool or spa, or try out the breakfast buffet, and will need to do that next time. Overall we had a wonderful time. We felt like VIPs. I cannot wait to go back!
