My husband and I stayed at the hotel for five nights and really did have a great time. After we booked the hotel I read many of the reviews, and I will probably be repeating what most of them already say. The hotel itself was beautiful, yes it is a little big, but my husband and I enjoy strolling, so there were no problems there! Our room was perfect, a beautiful veiw of the ocean, and it was far from the lagoon view rooms (which is where the majority of families with children stay). As for the "kids issue" that so many reviews brought up, it wasn't bad. The worst thing was at breakfasts some parents felt that no one would mind if they ignored their children and let them run around the whole place. (But then again, this can happen anywhere you go)! Basically, yes there were kids around, but it's not like we were expecting a couple's only resort or anything- so it was fine. As for the food... after reading about it, I was a little hesitant. We pretty much stuck to the asian place for dinner(which was wonderful). We tried one buffet and it was awful. Sorry, I'm not much help with this one. Overall our stay was great. Everyone was so nice and very helpful, and the hotel was beautiful!

Big resort, many activities. There was not real door for toilet in the room. Staff not professional enough, and some of them not friendly. internet is so slow with overcharges. Nice food. nice view.

We just stayed for 10 days at the Warwick Fiji Resort & Spa in October 2009. From the airport it takes roughly 2 hours to get to the hotel when you have a private transport. We booked a mountain view room & were upgraded to a Warwick Club Room. We opted for the All-inclusive option so we wouldn't get a big suprise the end of our stay. All local drinks, incl alcohol, is included exept for the cocktails. But you can get those for half price in one of the bars. All meals are also included exept for when you choose for a la carte in some of the 4 restaurants. Almost all night we had dinner in the main (buffet style) restaurant where there were plenty of options. The all inclusive option also includes, amongst other things: - free use of all sports activities like use snorkling gear, tennis, midget golf, squash & the use of the well equiped gym. - transfer to Sigatoga for a 2 hour shopping trip ( wasn't anything special & you can buy the same souvenirs in the shops at the hotel for the same price) The service of all the staff is what made our holiday so great; we never met more friendly people then the Fijians. Our room was serviced twice a day even without asking. Great & friendly service in all restaurants & bars, but remember that you are in Fiji (Fiji time), but who cares, you're on holiday!!

The resort is very seclued- away from everything. If you are looking for absolutely no noise/activities/entertainment- this one if for you. We did (a friend and I) go next door to Crusoe's Retreat where they had activities. There are no shops around the resort- the road is bumpy to get to and I can't understand why they (the owner more specifically) doesn't pave the road- few taxi's will drive up the street. The resort is about 4 km's from the main road where all cars and taxi's pass, and it's extremely hilly- probably not a good walk unless you're a hiker, even then- I still thinks it's difficult. Ensure to buy drinks/snacks before you get to the resort as they are more expensive there then in the regular shops and grocery stores. We did trips to the main cities- Suva and Nadi- took the regular city bus- which cost $3.10 Fijian dollards. The people who work at the resort are extremely nice. Very kind and work really hard. Be friendly to them- they don't make the rules at the resort. Respect goes along way on this island as everyone is extremely friendly. Queeny you are a great!!!! Thanks.
